Similarly, I found Daniel and Rex while my mother became ill and eventually passed. I have to admit. They helped me get through a work day, though I had been listening to them off and on when over worked prior to my mother's final illness, as I was looking to compare notes from Arizona Distillers and Total Wine Classes. I've been through ALL the Scotches, Irish, Rye and Wheat videos, and it became my dry day shot. And as my mother was passing, they became vicarious friends to dry drink with.

I will note, after my mother passed, the Vault Changed and I lost my passion for it. I still have joined a couple of live shows, but I got caught up in something else the turned out as horrible as my mother's passing. Now, I need any escape as I help my father to the next stage. I only wish I could visit and meet more friends in craft, I have too many enemies in crap.

Hi there pmnphxaz from Iceland. Closing on on 50 here and reading your comment made me think about my parents. They are fast closing in on this part of their life and thus a chapter of my life where I will be saying my last goodbyes and last I love yous to them. Please know your comment made an impact in at least one person in the world. A positive one. A preparative one. Hope I will deal with it with the grace and humility that my parents deserve. Cheers what ever your real name is Egill from Iceland

For some reason, Elijah Craig's have been some of my favorite bourbons over the years.

Lance rocks!!! What a great, genuine, loving dude and happy to know him and his wife. I also found the Whiskey Vault long before I was in to spirits like I am now. Definitely was on Captain/Jack and Cokes. :) Following them led me to branch out and I have not looked back. Absolutely love these showcase - style videos as well. Kudos and cheers!!

Lance my brother. I was sipping Pursuit Double Oaked when I launched this…but you know I had to go pour some of my Founder’s Pick to join you. Great testimony! Love you man! And like I said on my comment to your FB post re this video’s launch…my very first Whiskey Tube video was a Whiskey Tribe 10 bottles for newbies video during Covid (I do wish I had gone with Elijah Craig 94 from that list, rather than Bulleit…though eventually I became a high rye lover). My best to Renee.

Great story and great review. I have my usual favourite whisky channels that I always watch religiously but with this dry week series I've been blown away. All the contributions have been really interesting and I'm definitely going to check out a number of the channels. Whisky tube is really sucking diesel these days, cheers!

Regarding Elijah Craig Single Barrel BP store picks. I wrestle with these because of the price. In my area these store picks are around 8-9 years old and cost close to $100 after tax. I compare those to ECBPs that are older for $78 before tax. Not sure the store picks are worth the premium.
@WhiskeyTornado14 күн бұрын
Agree 100% but there are some banger single barrel picks out there if you know who’s picking them that are worth every penny. Cheers!

@@WhiskeyTornadoI’ll remember that for the smaller store that has a pick. By me it’s often a big box store that has a pick and often times I feel their choice is the most off profile tasting from the core offerings.
