What's so special about watching the stripes live is that if you notice he almost always turns his back on the audience and faces meg at some point. It's almost as if that's how they've always practiced and it just shows how organic they are, audience or no audience.

100% agree. He always said she was the heart of the band. He revolved everything around her. To this day, I notice he plays to the drummer. Miss the WS so much.

After listening to alt rock bands like White stripes and Smashing pumpkins , u realize how much commercial trash songs are manufactured by the music industry each year with neither regard for music as an art form or concern for taste of the general public but just to keep cranking hit after hit to fill their fat wallets

So thankful for this version of Jolene. My favorite cover ever. The passion in his voice, the absolute control of his guitar, the tone of the guitar. Just a masterpiece. So glad i got to see the white stripes back in the day and get to keep seeing Jack perform today. A legend!!
