We had a conference with another church and my husband asked me "was I going"? my response was to him let me pray about it. I prayed and waited on God to answer me. The day of the conference I told my husband that i wasn't going. Well, our church went and everyone caught COVID. I began to thank God and i obeyed what He said and we did not go.

I heard this as well. And my spirit sinks when I hear them tell me that unless I go to a physical church and congregate with actual living beings, that I am not right with God. Who goes to church, people who think they are saved because they go to church, devoting one day out of the week for God? I share God's Word when I feel convicted, and when people ask me, I take the time to answer thoroughly, because God's Word says to be ready at all times to give an account of your faith. I don't go to church. My dad was a preacher, I have been to plenty of churches, and I've heard the sad piano music, and the call to the alter, but it wasn't my dad that led me to Christ, though he did point the way. Jesus Christ knew me, while I was still yet in sin, and He saw me through it, and delivered me from it. People get so comfortable in their churches that they condemn others that do not go to church. Most people on the internet who are not religious, make no plans of going to church, so how then will they hear of God's Word if all the righteous attend churchs? Do churches produce listeners, and how many of them actually even open their Bibles to determine if what they're being taught is in conformity to God's Word.

I really needed to hear this, I just recently left my baptist church even though I considered myself just a bible believer, my mother died last month & being a Catholic I know she thinks she woke up in so called purgatory, I told the pastor this & he didn't like what I said and always walks away from me in all conversations..... We'll he wouldn't like truth since his father in law is Catholic & pastor believes a Catholic can get to heaven! No they can't, I never had a chance with their false doctrine! My husband is upset with me, I told him that he's just embarrassed since he still goes, I refuse to even talk to pastors snitch, she's really the pastor of the church & tells him what to do! I'm done, we are the Church, not a building, God bless

I have had a horrible time trying to know which church to belong to...so right now I don't belong to any. I see the good in a lot of denominations...Assembly of God, the Orthodox Church, the Catholic Church, mainline protestantism and even Evangelical churches. I have spent a lot of time talking to Jehovah's witnesses and Mormons. But the only conclusion I can come to right now is that there is a lot of corruption in these various denominations, and I feel just safer on my own. But, I long for a spiritual community that is based in scripture and good practices. I went to Russia and for the first time stepped foot in the amazing Orthodox churches, and heard the choirs and acoustics--it was so amazing and almost brought tears to my eyes. But I am just too afraid of man to yoke myself to one of these organizations. In a sense I feel trans-denominational, and I just doubt that I will ever find a church. I am one of those wandering sheep that went off into the bramble bushes I guess...

The building other Christians, and I was led to assemble in, has been getting together for a year, which started off in a Pizza Hut. The truth according to Gods word is taught, but we are still flesh, so we all are learning still, and things like tithing has never been taught. If you want to give there is a box for donations in the back of the building. Your giving is between you and God. I know those among me that are truly seeking after the Lord, by their actions and what comes out of their mouths. And I will not say that there is not some who come in to the building or has even been coming there for a while who may not be putting Jesus first in their lives, just by their actions, and what I hear come out of their mouths. But also there is a mix of those following Jesus at all different levels! And I don’t expect a baby to walk in the same way as a mature Christian. Some are newly born, some toddlers, some teenagers, some mature in the Lord. But because they are at different levels spiritually, does not mean they are not in Christ. We have to be careful about the way we judge our assemblies, as we do not know what God has, or is doing in the hearts of those who call themselves our brethren. We can know a wolf, and a false teacher by their fruits, and should not walk after them. But we also should not abandon babies to be devoured by the wolves. There is a fine line here! Between fulfilling the Law of God, which is to Love the Lord with all your heart, mind, and strength, and to love our neighbor as thyself. The Bible tells us that Christ laid down his life for us, so we should lay down our lives for the brethren. Animals might abandon their young when the wolf comes around. But Jesus never abandons his sheep. And a brethren should follow after what Jesus would do.Like I said there is a fine line, and we must have true discernment from the Holy Spirit to whether or not we should leave a place, or whether we are called by the Spirit to be there! But when two or three are gathered together, Jesus is in the mist of them! So even if there is only that many truly following Jesus in that place. He is there! Sometimes we can’t see the purpose of staying where false teaching is being taught. But God knows the heart of everyone there. And perhaps we are not there for any other reason then for that one person who God would want you there for? Many great men of God served God in places that was not serving the same God. Daniel served the true God in Babylon. Joseph served the true God in Egypt, David served the true God living with the Philistines. It’s not a black and white subject or just don’t go there! It is all in whether the Spirit of God has directed you to that place for his purpose, or whether He has directed you to not go there. I am not disagreeing with what my brother is saying here, except to point out that God has chosen us to use for his purposes, and we have to understand that he knows the minds,hearts, and motives of all of us. He knows the purpose of it all, we don’t. We are called to follow Jesus, and we do that by obeying the Spirit of God. So just don’t make your mind up that it’s not of God for you to go to a certain assembly, as it may very well be Gods purpose to send you there! What I came to realize, is that this whole thing is not about me, and what I want. It is about others, and what the Spirit of Christ directs me to do. And we do not know the motives in others hearts, and could very well be called to a place to show Christ’s love, and truth, to show a true walk and by our walk, and obedience and testimony, be used to save those who may be being led into error. We have to do what God sends us to do, we just need to make sure He wants us there. I explicitly said that discernment is needed. However if bad teaching is being taught by leaders there and we are just sitting there in the name of love and fellowship then it is no longer about Christ and His words. We would be part of the problem not the solution. I remember we brushed over this subject before. I personally never compromise the truth because of fellowship. If we just sit there and allow the devil room to operate through deceived leaders then we would be encouraging the kingdom of darkness. Each man will be judged according to the light they have been given. If we know something to be wrong and against Christ and we just sit there, then we would be guilty of withholding truth or at least of lacking boldness. May God bless you always

Let me put it this way to you brother. I wrote to you in a comment of one of your videos a while back, that my only son had heart failure, and was in ICU dying. I ask for prayers from you, and all the other commenters. Not one person responded! Yet my brothers I attend the assembly with, and the pastor of the assembly I go to, not only came to the hospital and prayed with me, but stayed awake the whole night, fasting and praying for my son, and me. The kid that does the worship fasted and prayed for several days right up to the time my son died! All of them showed me Christ’s love when I needed them! You tell me who is the church? Who is walking in the truth of Christ? God is love! If we are obeying Christ then Love is all the doctrine and law wrapped up in those who walk doing the true love of Christ! Not those who sit here on KZbin telling everybody how wrong everybody else is! When they haven’t even ever gone to the assemblies they are downing! If you have been to every church building in the country then you can say that every pastor is not teaching the truth, if he’s not.Jesus told us the Tares grow in the same field as the Wheat! The true church is mixed in together with the children of the devil, in the same field! The sheep are together with the goats! His angels he will send to reap, are perfectly able to divide those who are the Tares from those who are the Wheat! Who are sheep from the goats! Who are we to judge another mans servant? Is there error in the church? Yes! Is there even more error on KZbin? Yes! But you still have a channel in the mist of the false teachers don’t you! Brother we are to love in word and deed. Not just in word! The brethren I assemble with showed Christ’s love in word and deed. Yet, I got no response at all from you or those who are following you! I watched a CRT video and they were saying all white people are this and that. You are doing the same thing! Judging the whole assembly as wrong, when you should be judging each assembly individually by their fruits! But you can’t do that because you have not been to them all! And you have not even met the people I fellowship with, or 99.9% of those you are saying are teaching error! You have not cried with those who cry over their sin, or are struggling to overcome their flesh, or who are in need in these assemblies! Get out from behind the screen and you might see these are real people whom Christ died for! Who many are new born babies is Christ, who need the guidance and light of of those who know the word! It’s easy to pass judgement, but it takes sacrifice, and long suffering to lay down your life for the brethren! It is the opposite from serving the kingdom of darkness! The church is not only to feed spiritually it is to feed with actual food. That is what tithes were for the most part in the OT....food.
