I gave and give everything to my autistic child who screams and screams. “High functioning “ so he looks typical but struggles as his brain isn’t developed enough for self regulation. God created all people , mothers included, with different capacities and different graces, I am exhausted and cannot give more. All I can do is wake up and try to do and be better for him while I accept that I’ll have no joy in this life, I only ask for strength to endure and more love in my heart.

You give to God enormously by caring for your son. You already give more than most in doing so! The more you could give, actually, is to find little ways to care for YOURSELF. Yes, suffering is an offering, as He suffered a pretty difficult lifetime and certainly death, for us. But the "more" you could do is to take care of YOU more. Find little spaces for relaxation somewhere. Savor something delicious, notice the beautiful things God made.... whatever. It would be good if you could find some help. I pray that for you!

Since money is connected to the heart, we have the liberty to give it during any day of the week - not restricted only on Sundays. God is omniscient (He knows all things) therefore when giving, double-check motives. Give to those who especially need help: the poor, widows and orohans (Zechariah 7:9-10).

All believers must give their talent, time, salt, etc, according to God's heart - caring for the poor, windows, orphans, etc. - those in need. 🎉

Thanks for the timely reminder. Believers are called to remain vigilant amidst a world that often seems dark and challenging. In Ephesians 5:14, Paul urges, “Awake, sleeper, and arise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you.” This call to spiritual alertness is crucial as we navigate through times of moral ambiguity and era of gaslighting.

Paul’s reminder about the lateness of the hour is echoed in Romans 13:11-12: “Do this, knowing the time, that it is already the hour for you to awaken from sleep; for now salvation is nearer to us than when we believed.” This sense of urgency compels believers to live with purpose and readiness. 🙏
