I saw this movie a few years ago. I remember thinking that it didn't make any sense that Jackie had an affair. Everything in her life seemed so good...there must have been something really wrong under the surface - but I couldn't figure it out. When Alec first appears, he comes across as a complete psychopath...until it's revealed what a monster Greg truly is. In the film, Mandy is very sweet and just trying to survive. She risks (and ultimately loses) her life to try to help the boys. (She could have just run away, but she tries to help them escape instead.) It's really very sad when she's murdered by Greg. It's really a well done film - so worth seeing!
