The bison you may be aim too high on the shoulder, try getting within 100 yds and aiming more midline of the animal and behind the shoulder instead of on the shoulder. Kinda wish I had a pic to explain better

That is good advice. I've shot probably over a dozen bison and that sounds pretty much exactly like the shot placement I use and with the exception of the time the game glitched (and did what happened to Bo here with the shot on the animal not registering) I've taken them all down in one hit.

@@FyremaelGlittersparkle I'd figure that it'd take more then a lung shot IRL. Never hunted them personally but common sense says that if you cant put a bullet in the heart you need to get closer and be patient.

A spot I got my mature bison is was the bottom left corner. If you fast travel to that tent, about 900 metres west of that tent, there's a canyon where bison spawn, and there is almost always an adult or mature bison in that spot. You should easily be able to spot him from the tent with the binoculars.

The only way you kill bison is you aim for the head if you shoot anywhere else it’s always going to be a fine

I think the pronghorns in the game are bugged. I've actually never bagged a mature pronghorn on the PS4, and I'm now over 60 hours in. The biggest I find is an adult, and they're all scoring the exact same. With the dozens of pronghorns I've bagged by now I almost would have HAD to come across a mature one. It's gotten to the point where even my wife is laughing at me when I go to play HS2, she's asking me if I'm "going to get that mature deer today?"

how are you leading and doing bullter drop n still landing these guys when the games mechanics say it doesnt have it?

Oh Hunting Simulator 2 has almost arcade-like bullet drop, that's why they throw in the tracer so you can see where it goes. Really, it has something to do with the focal length in the game. What looks like 20 yards is actually 50 yards... so what looks like a 200 yard shot is actually a 400 yard shot... which messes a lot with the bullet drop.

You can’t travel in the open field- but you can run to a tent and fast travel between the tents

The graphcs are fine and they guns are amazing but yeah everything needs to be updated. Honestly, the graphics are almost just as good as COTW's graphics

I want to get this game but the bison are really messed up. The legs are soooo bad. Like the front legs should be the back legs and vice versa. The knees for the front and back legs are reversed and it looks oddly demonic. These videos make me want to buy it more though.

I do better with a 30 30 took down moose and grizzly one shot and a follow up shop is easier less recoil
