Once "I could use a boost" track hit, my entire theater broke down. And we were only halfway through the scene. I don't think anyone in that theater had dry eyes by the time Roz caught the feather, the score is amazing

Academy members shouldn't just be asking if The Wild Robot's music should get nominated; this NEEDS to be a frontrunner for Best Original Score. The music is present throughout, from the moment Roz enters the forest until the credits roll. And when the music swells, so do our hearts. Outstanding work by Kris and Chris.

Yeah, but when they see a big name, they just go with that to make fans happy. This OST is amazing. Across all the movie perfect and even in Spotify it is amazing. The sung song is the only weak point.
@nabeelnaureen7283Ай бұрын
Yeah, I agree. This movie had the Klaus problem where they played a cringe (not as much as Klaus though) and auto tune song which made the scene a little, tad, tiny bit less enjoyable but the score, oh my God, the SCORE! I'm gonna cry just thinking about. It's not even just the score, the whole movie was absolutely amazing. In my opinion, this is definitely MOTY and I think, the best DreamWorks movie there is other than HTTYD. This HAS to win the oscar for best animated feature but they're probably gonna give it to Inside Out 2 or something because of popularity and stuff. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that movie is bad, I loved Inside Out 2, it's just I think The Wild Robot was a much better movie as they were not afraid to take risks, it had a deeper and more emotional story, the messages were beautiful, the animation was gorgeous and the obviously, the musical score in this movie was the best of this year in my opinion.
@TrioLOLGamersАй бұрын
@@nabeelnaureen7283 my personal order is Puss in Boots 2, The Wild Robot, Inside Out 2. Inside Out is a good movie, but nothing more. The Wild Robot has the nuts to tell a simple easy story in the best way possible. Puss in boots 2 has everything the Wild Robot has, but an even better story. The biggest issue for me is that PIB2 managed to convey the feeling of anxiety that we have, while Insede Out only managed to mediocrely copy this Dreamworks way of telling feelings.

Ruby Gillman was a decent movie and really very over-hated IMO. I don't think every DreamWorks movie needs to be a masterpiece and the same goes with Pixar or any other studio. Trolls Band Together was also decent even though I belong in the minority. I think its the weakest of the Troll movies and not the best like several people are saying. Orion and the Dark was also okay. I am a strong defender of Kung Fu Panda 4. I think it is a worthy addition to the franchise despite being the weak link. I strongly disagree that its outright bad or terrible. I also disagree that its just a mediocre popcorn movie. Even from a storytelling POV, there are engaging themes of change and good character dynamics. Yes it is predictable and rushed and the past villains are under-utilized but I think there are a lot of overlooked positives. Then Wild Robot is a masterpiece !! I won't say its perfect or the best DreamWorks movie ever but definitely one of the best. So apart from the cash grabby Megamind content, DreamWorks hasn't made something that is outright bad after 2022, at least in my opinion.
