Hello everyone. Russell, one of your dogs, the one who shakes his head like that, may have trouble with his ears. Check and preferably with both, go to the veterinarian for a check-up. Problems with ears are very bad for dogs. Cheers to you and the dogs.

My little guy used to do that when he had ear infections. That slow shake was a sure sign something was going on, with mine anyway.

Yes , need 2 keep clean those ears, lk ,I been there done that with my 2 labs, we don't want an infection.. much worst for u both, but ya. Didn't know CITYGIRL, liked rocks (LUCY) 😂. me2 so, good 2 c e-1 (except ukw). Good food n good show .. thks n take it anyway u can... PO

The snow is melting in our neck of the woods but we still have some real cold days. I try to make the best of it by baking cookies and making nice suppers, homemade soups etc. My hubby is french Canadian and his favourite pie is sugar pie, so I made it for him for Valentine's Day. It's the simple things in life that keeps us sane and calm.

I’m up in North Bay. Wednesday morning I went to work at 5:30am in a thunderstorm. Temp 7C. 9 hours later came home in a snowstorm with white out conditions. Temp -12C. What a winter!! :)

Whoa, that wind was picking up. It's been windy here, too, warm, all the snow is gonzo. I like watching Russell and Alicia Doin' Stuff. The homemade pizza pockets looked so much better than those cardboard ones. Did you have pineapple in there, too? I made some white chili and put in hot yellow peppers and possibly a smidge too much cayenne powder. Boy was it on fire! I added some leftover chicken gravy from the freezer. By the time I garnished with some jack cheese, bit of sour cream, and ate it over cornbread it was just right, haha. Not sure what appropriate additives would mellow out spicy marinara type sauces, tho. There are so many varieties of things anymore that you have to keep a close eye on what you're grabbing off the shelf. Nice day for a walk, and nice you can still make the pond circuit. Pea Soup!!

Hey Russell, love your videos and have been watching for years. Just an idle thought....every time I see you near your steps off the back deck area, I wonder if you'll ever put a railing up....at least on one side. No big deal but sh-- happens, especially if you may be carrying something. Anyway, keep the videos coming as they're very enjoyable and often relaxing to watch.

lol All the cans too spicy. Which is why I keep plain tomato sauce on hand, when needing to cut it with something too spicy. Likewise chicken or beef broth, to cut down the spicy enchilada sauce when I make those. Walking on the ice was fun, but I kept seeing all those cracks... ! Eek! You both are so cute. Always makes me smile the way you get along and banter back and forth, and work together as a team. I hope your water purification system works and gives you nice, clean, healthy water. June Bug shaking her ears so much. Perhaps ear mites. Infection. Built-up wax. Fleas. My dogs have had all of those. The dogs of years ago. Haven't had a dog in some time. More reason I enjoy watching your two sweety pooches. Oh yum. The pizza sandwiches looked so good. Yeah, I know what you mean about cracking open that tube. It was like holding a small bomb. I usually asked someone else to explode it for me. But sometimes I was alone... so I checked my insurance policy, donned the safety googles and bike helmet and... kidding. Edit: Safety googles? I been online too many years. lol!

I've put a can of tomato sauce in to sauces that are too spicy; sometimes two cans. With pizza sauce I then add about a half a teaspoon of sugar and will put some oregano, basil, and garlic powder. That helps it to keep the pizza flavor. The last few years I've actually bought Chef Prudhommes Pizza and Pasta spice. I'll use about a half of a teaspoon in a small can of tomato sauce and It's enough to make two 12 inch pizzas. I have sprinkled a very small amount and add more cheese to cheap frozen pizzas Very tasty and can make it as mild or spicy as you want. I like to make my own dough also. Eventually I want to make the mozzarella.
