@@plescaeugen4479 yeah I pour half my salary into it.... The hour of flight is around 550 to 650 USD here in Europe. A tunnel costs around 5 to 8 millions to build and consumes from 0.5 to nearly 1 mega watt when full speed. Coaching varies from 150 to 300 an hour depending on the coach.

Not knowing much about it, it seems to me that the performances in a wind tunnel may be better than performing in the sky because there is no burden of carrying a packed parachute and a reserve chute. Like I say, I don't know for sure though.

Flying in the wind tunnel does offer great convenience - no plane ride, no parachute to pack, no weather dependency, much longer airtime than you get in conventional freefall. It's also a fantastic tool for learning to improve your freefall skills if and when you actually do get in the air. It doesn't offer everything that skydiving does, however - the joy of exiting the aircraft, the fun you can have under a parachute, the stupendous views, the possibility of being in freefall with dozens or even hundreds of other people at once, the thrill of leaving the plane last and swooping down to catch those who exited several seconds before you. Skydiving and tunnel flying are entirely different sports, but they complement each other very well.
