I think the concerns about both were valid, but the biggest difference is he's convinced them to fully buy in. We knew they could reach this level, it's just getting them to actually do it that was challenging. Bones started the process, and it seems like Arniel's got them both committing closely. Great to see.

@@LockedOnJetsNHL also seems like they have to learn how to win again, lots of turnover since 2018. losing a couple rounds to recent champs/that years champs absolutely doesn’t make them at all like the leafs, despite what people who don’t follow the team and didn’t watch the games say.

There are some things I will say do need some work. It won't be a problem until April, but the 5v5 offense hasn't been nearly as consistent as it appears. That's where I think a smashing trade deadline really turns this team into something to be feared. I've also had to recalibrate the way I see the rest of the league. Both conferences seem to be weaker than usual, so stuff that was a problem for the Jets in previous years may not be as problematic this season. All the more reason to swing really big!

I remeber not long ago you constantly said KFC should not be on the first line, no? I agree gustov is a keeper. KFC is a superstar and always was. Kapari is awsum, Apple and Stanley are not very good.

I still think he should play with Perfetti (they have some very interesting chemistry), but he's improved his own game enough to where it's fine if he wants to stick with 55 for now. His D game used to be bad enough to where it really held the line as a whole back by being pinned too deep. The only thing the top line might still need is a bit more speed. Vilardi's been making great passes so I'm not sure what the best way to make that happen is if 81 and 55 want to keep at it. I do have a preference of line combos but honestly, I've given up hoping to see them haha. So I am not going to beat as much on that drum now unless the top line goes back to what it did before (which is technically possible, hoping it does notttt).

With Dallas aquiring Granlund+Ceci I'm sure Colorado not being done Necas. Flames making deal Miller/Pettersson trade Jets should start early like with Monahan and aquire see where at and if need make another move or 2 closer deadline like Miller/Toffoli do it. Guys I'd like Jaden Schwartz,Kadri,Teravainen,Byram/Cozens,Hayton,Sanheim,Provorov,Ristolainen,Pulock,Savard,Bjorkstrand,Eberle,Karlsson,Barzal/Horvat,Nyquist,Zacha,Parayko,Laughton. Or get all shopping done 1 place RyanStrome+Dumoulin PavelZacha+Carlo Guys don't want Nelson,Gourde,Wennberg,Coyle,Evans,Jones,Zabinijad,Palmieri,Lindgren/KandreMiller,Donato,Robertson,Zucker,Armia,Dvorak,Zegras. If Blues made Thomas,Kyrou,Schenn avaliable they could fit and I don't see ORielly comming here.
