I would love to know if someone like Omar had ever testified like that in a court. I tend to believe not as lawyers are very conservative about juries and what gets presented to them, but it'd fascinating to hear if there were any real cases

Omar's testimony in court is one of my favorite things in the whole series. He won over the jury by being himself, and he owned Levy (the only time that happened in the whole series, I think).

Absolutely love Omar in court. Probably the moment that solidified my absolute love for his character ❤ And no Omar isn't the only one, his is just definitely the most infamous. McNulty does it in Season 1 looking for Savino and it happens again down the line. All three times are absolutely incredible though.

Great cast. I remember the first time I saw Method Man as Cheese.. it blew my mind..... another member of the cast who you may not recognize that has a bit of an iconic career is Bubs' junky friend Johnny... the actor's name is Leo Fitzpatrick. He played Telly in the 1995 movie "Kids" If you don't know about "Kids" you should really look into it. It was an extremely controversial movie because of the subject matter when it came out. Rosario Dawson was also discovered during casting for that movie.
