Samhain is my favorite Sabbat. I enjoy the mundane of dressing for the kids and being outside waiting for them to enjoy nature, then coming in, getting comfy and enjoying the solitude for the rest of the night. It's always such a powerful time for me and the energy starts building several days beforehand.

Raecine, would you consider making a video that speaks to your beliefs about deity and the faces of deity? I grew up in a conservative Christian family, town, culture in the Deep South. I am still live in and feel very much suffocated by that world, and my spiritual journey is very lonely. I have been trying to refine my beliefs about deity(s)/spirit/source for years. I *think* I have a similar belief to you, but you so eloquently and articulately describe aspects of your journey and practice, and I still struggle to define mine, so I would love to hear your thoughts. Thank you for creating this wonderful channel!

I have a really eclectic spiritual path but the wheel of the year has always been at the forefront and Samhain has always been when I feel most connection to the earth and ancestors. I'm never very comfortable around mediumship, it happens but I can't promise if someone will come through, but not around Samheim all cards and feelings are just shouting to make contact. Hoping it will work, the veil is definitely thin right now. I always feel more energetic, guided and feel called to make offerings around this time, honestly it's the only sabbath I feel called to do something for.

interesting. i've been witching since 1983 and do not celebrate samhain. i celebrate the, actual, changes of the seasons (i'm a pantheist) and the phases of the moon (wellll, the full and new these days...getting lazy). that being said, this is an interesting take on the day.
