The Wobble: Woox-Walking for Beginners

This is a bit of an educational video, so apologies in advance! Trying out a new style of video, as a lot of people have asked about the style I use when fighting Vorkath. It's a variation of a Woox-walk, but I feel it's much easier to learn as a beginner. Hopefully this video explains what I'm doing.
Just to note: A 5-Attack Speed weapon takes 6 ticks to hit with a Woox walk, because you are going backwards on the 5th tick. You won't be able to attack until the next tick. Sorry if that part didn't make sense.

While putting this together, I noticed you could actually pull more efficiency in your fights if you used this method. For odd-count attack speed weapons like the crossbow, you would lose a tick when woox walking, as you can only attack every other tick. If you modify this method, you can actually attack on the exact tick. I might make a follow up video if there's enough interest.

Cheers Excl! I have been getting back into OSRS after last playing 04-09 (and watching your hilarious skits). I'm about to do DS2 and will for sure come back to watch this before trying Vorkath myself! I'd have just played it safe and had super slow KC because woox walking is rather intimidating. Being able to try it with a built in mechanism for bailing out sounds amazing!

Couple of things I would like to mention/ask 1) you don't need the slayer staff at vorkath, using the crumble undead with this particular setup will always hit and kill the little bug things. Gives you an extra inv space 2) graceful gloves

auto-casting with the staff is easy because you can just keep your inventory open rather than having to open the spell menu to manually cast. It's also less risky if you do miss your click on the spawn. personally, i usually will take the time when vorkath is spitting it out to eat an anglerfish if i'm not already overhealed, and then kill the spawn. it would take a lot more focus to be able to do that as well as manual cast before the spawn reaches me.

As someone who hasn't gotten to Vorkath yet and had never heard of Woox-Walking before this video, I am now filled with immense dread. On another note, have you tested this with any other bosses? It seems like a really good tactic.

Take it at your own pace! Almost anyone who knows what they're doing will say that you shouldn't try woox walking until you're very familiar with the boss. It's not at all necessary, just speeds things up a bit, but Vorkath is a great source of cash even if you aren't at max efficiency.

If someone else has popularized this method before, I'll happily refer to it as a J1mmy Jig or Settled Samba. Don't mean to take credit for something that's been around before, but it's not a method that's referred to by others. Most people will say do a Woox Walk. I suppose I can call it a Woox Wobble, but its just easier to call it something than tell people to look up a video on 4 click criss cross modified woox walking

Didn't mean to imply I was the first to ever discover this. I'm certain this has been around forever. I just haven't seen any videos that explain this method. Most people will just say "Do a woox walk", which isn't exactly easy for everybody to jump into. I've had a few people ask me to explain how to do it this way, hence the video.
