Thanks! Definitely strange seeing Hans talk this much. I wonder if Hans was at one point planned to be a little bit more important than being the guy who literally does nothing but show up and say "BOOK?" I know that is what he basically is here too but he feels more like a person rather than an NPC to move the plot along.

InColdBlood, in their deleted content videos, mentioned at least 3 big reasons why alot of content ended up getting cut. 1. In early development it was meant to be closer in gameplay to Telltale's earlier games like Sam & Max and Back To The Future which had more linear puzzle focused gameplay. After Walking Dead's success they reworked Wolf Among Us to focus on a cinematic approach where your choices matter. 2. There were huge creative differences at one point of development which caused a huge rewrite at some point. 3. Late in deveopment Telltale were spreading themselves thin over a large amount of projects (Game of Thrones, Tales from the Borderlands, Walking Dead Season 2's finale were all around the same time.) so some things ended up rushed or unfinished. @@shyper_

It is a pretty weird scene. I think the idea was to make fun of Dee but the overall conversation feels off which is probably why it was removed. I just wish the model remained in the files because now I just want to know what they looked like.

It's interesting that they're illustrating a slightly earlier, more cynical version of Beauty. I don't recall Beauty swearing like that in the final game, even under duress, and she doesn't seem to have as much of a problem with drinking, here. The mermaid model for Nerissa is very intriguing as well, maybe she wears a fake tail in accordance with some kind of 'stage' persona? Perhaps they decided against this it as it was too on the nose or too awkward to animate. It could even be that they made a mermaid model just in case they thought of a fun way they could include Nerissa's true form, but it was never needed. The craziest thing is all the Hans dialogue, though. Recorded and everything. Hans has so little left in the final game that it almost feels like a mistake that they included him at all. Incidentally, I'm glad they cut out the dialogue about Bigby's chain-smoking. It didn't need to be brought up and that info is so commonly known that pretty much everybody becomes aware of it after getting into Fables/TWAU.

I would say most of these changes were due to the rewriting that happened. Nerissa at one point probably did have a glamor for her legs. There is a reason why there is a painting of Nerissa as a mermaid in the club as well as a mermaid neon sign. If I had to guess, the club was probably much more Fables exclusive and Nerissa would be on stage as a mermaid. But this was dropped, which is why there is a mermaid model and other mermaid related stuff at the club despite the fact Nerissa is no longer a mermaid. As for Hans, it is important to mention that this is every possible time Hans would speak out of 4 options then lead to the next part of the scene with 4 options again during his segment. So really he'd have like 3 scenes rather than 1. He was still a very minor character, but he was a bit more established and it is likely he may have at one point been someone else from the club Bigby could've questioned in later episodes (though this part is a lot more theory, there isn't much in the game or files to support that.)

@@Bestgameplayer10 Nope, you can ask Nerissa if she's glamoured and she'll reveal that the legs are real. "You have legs, are they glamour?" "No, they are real. Do you like them? They cost me alot." Her entry in the book of fables also support that. "She's known as the Little Mermaid, the young girl who gave up her tail for a pair of legs in the hopes of winning the heart of a handsome prince. When he married a princess instead, Nerissa was left heartbroken. She made the journey to the mundane world hoping for a better life. Now she dances at the Pudding and Pie, but each step she takes feels like walking on shards of glass." But all that is besides the point anyway - the game's whole twist ending implies that you never actually met Nerissa. That it was Faith in glamour all that time. Which raises the question why they would have made a mermaid model, unless the Faith reveal was a last minute addition and not planned at that point.

@@DerOrk I stand corrected. Well, maybe she would glamour them for the pole dancing scene? That’s the only thing I can think of for it to work in the current story. But yeah, to add to what you said, the story was VERY different before they made episodes 2-5 (as seen from the original episode two art before episode 2 released). I guess we’ll never know.

The game looks far better than any concepts I have made but thanks! Mostly just predicted blue would be a color focused on because of the winter so naturally when the trailer dropped it also would focus on blues. Only thing I was a bit surprised by was Telltale seemingly went for a more heavy wool coat like what I did rather than the typical trench coat.

Most of the major cut content has already been covered for The Wolf Among Us. I am sure there is still some more smaller stuff like this tucked away somewhere but I also feel this can be said about almost every Telltale game. Seems like once you think you found it all there's still a ton you haven't seen yet.
