I saw Duran Duran in concert a few days before this accoustic MTV show. Lamya had such a beautiful voice... too sad she passed away too young. This performance is all about Lamya's amazing voice but the studio version of "Come Undone" is even more beautiful.

This version is with a girl named Lamya who was their backup singer in the 90s. She died years ago of a heart attack when she was just 35. They have a backup singer now named Anna Ross who does this song with Simon. It is a little different but this version is the best version in my opinion! Can you please for next DD song do White Lines on the Diamond In The Mind concert on KZbin? You'll see something different with that one!

Lamya passed away in Jan 2009. She released a solo album in 2002, " Learning from Falling ", and was working on a new album to be released later in 2009. She toured with Duran Duran on their Wedding album tour (The Dilate your mind tour) in 1993-94, which this performance (MTV Unplugged) was a part of.

Autotune was invetned in 1996 and it slowly started to be used in 1997. This MTV Unplugged performance aired on November 7, 1993. Duran Duran has been around since 1980 so not sure what you mean by the fake Autotune brigade if referring to Simon Le Bon and Duran Duran. "The first song published using Auto-Tune on the vocals was the 1998 song "Believe" by Cher," who actually can sing. Autotune was used more for the effects to distort her vocals and not to correct her singing. Therefore, Autotune is not just used for correcting off-key singing.
