Each of the books mentioned that every 30 years or so people go nuts and ignore the general investing rules and stocks go into a bubble (like the Dot Com bubble, for example). One of the books had a comment on this, saying that when people start ignoring the fundamentals of the companies that the stocks represent, to remember that the four most expensive words in the English language is "This time it's different." If you don't realize that the general rules still do apply, you'll lose big when the bubble bursts and everything comes crashing down.

I was in law enforcement for 12 years. Several times I had to explain this to the other parent. Often one parent will have had the child living with them for several years when the other parent shows up and takes the child. The first parent calls the cops. I explain to them that if a court has not ruled on it, then either parent can take the child with no repercussions.

I'm glad George, like myself, didn't see Niomi as a victim. She knew everything and only left him after he was indited. I think the only truly innocent people were the cops just doing their jobs. Even Jordan's first wife knew he was ripping people off people and was the one that told him to steal from the rich. She was even the one that told him to be a stockbroker when he was settling for being a stockboy. Though I will say I'm only talking about the movie, in real life, we have no idea how much of Jordan's book was true besides the court documents.

Fun Fact: That guy who introduced Leo Dio at the end of the movie at that seminar was the real Jordan Belfort…. 😅

A small correction George, Leo is not a method actor, although he does get close to it. Method actors tend to stay in character during filming and at times outside of it while filming a movie. Leo doesn't do this, on the other hand he takes weeks or even months of research and preparation for a role and gets professionals (who sometimes accompany him throughout the filming) and is super professional in always getting into the character's mind, which which doesn't make him as disruptive as method actors who can be incredibly over the top in their dedication to not getting out of character

Also, Scorsese got drug experts for all the debauchery scenes , and by that I mean ex-addicts who have experienced all the drugs seen in the movie. That's why believe it or not, the whole scene of the "lemons" is super realistic. according to Leo, the expert told him: "Imagine that your body was a doll controlled by a small version of yourself from inside your body"

11:03 Depends on Country and state within the country. But usually, if first cousins it will require medical checks to advise the couple of the likelihood of any genetic problems that may occur. Once they are made aware of any problems it's up to them.

Here in Texas, first cousins are banned from marriage. Along steps and inlaws.

There are so many great Scorsese films you may want to check out. Taxi Driver, King of Comedy (both inspirations for Joker) The Departed (although you may also enjoy the original Hong Kong film Infernal Affairs) Gangs of New York, Raging Bull, Shutter Island.... The list goes on. You can't go wrong with Mary, one of the best ever.

The loudest one in the room is the weakest is Denzel (Frank Lucas) in American Gangster, speaking about Cuba Gooding Jrs character in the club. Eddie Griffin said it also, "I'm scared! Aren't you scared?!'

Read "The Lords of Creation" by Frederick Lewis Allen and you will see they have been doing this before 1900. It's exactly this type of behavior that led to the many crashes in Wall Street along the way to the crash and depression in 1929.

Lemmon 714, AKA Quaaludes, I was once in a car with two other people and while sitting and waiting for the light to change, a car pull up next to us and asked if anything was wrong? And we said no , we're just waiting for the light to turn green and then the person said you're at a stop sign. This was a real Quaalude moment back in the early 1980s. Thank you for the time and effort you put into this video, thumbs up. P. S. Sorry for the bad grammar and punctuation.

Decaprio did not have lockjaw. He was making the "wolfman" face from the original movie, "The Wolfman" with Lon Chaney. Next movie recommendation: The Big Short.
