This movie profoundly changed the trajectory of my life. I was trying so hard to fit in the box that others chose for me that I lost my authentic self. The part where God tell Bruce that he brings joy to others by being himself and that what he was literally made for resonated with me so deeply. I was able to reclaim my self identity and eventually break free from the cult that I belonged to.

6:14 Sweeps are time periods when television stations/networks typically schedule programming designed to attract a larger than usual audience. The concept of sweeps began in 1954 when Nielsen began mailing out one-week TV diaries to households to fill-out what programs they were watching. Originally, diaries were mailed and collected in the northeast households before sweeping across the country to the western markets.
@steveplowright5014 Жыл бұрын
more importantly, however, those ratings were then used to determine how much money the network could charge for commercial airtime. The higher the ratings, the more they could charge. This is why sweeps weeks traditionally had better than normal programming scheduled, to bring in the viewers and boost the ratings.
@jeffe_77 Жыл бұрын
Typically Sweeps period would be in November, February and May. It’s part of the reason why the Super Bowl was moved from the end of January to the beginning of February.

Leaving is hard, but it’s so much harder to stop caring once you leave. I used to pray the same thing. Just please let me get over him.
