@@chrisfisher5960 thanks very much, Chris. It was tough trying to encourage my lads to achieve academic success when the dealer on their estate with the blacked out X5 appeared to be doing very well. Role models like Cav helped me in my quest. I was honoured to be one lad’s best man at his wedding as he made a success of his life but stood at the funeral of one lad who was out of reach and took 8 bullets to the chest. I am recovering from surgery for cancer but am proud to have once been a member of the teaching profession.

I love Mark Cavendish, I love the way sport drags emotions out of me. I'm a seasoncard holder at Manchester City, I was there for the Agüerooooooo moment in 2012, and as much of an emotional roller-coaster that game was I kept it together. But watching Cav last summer, emerging from the wheel of his lead-out and surging for the line, it had me in tears.

cycling is an individual sport that plays as a team. Within the Wolfpack, I love the particular team spirit and humility of each rider. When looking at the palmares of Cave or Alaphilippe it is amazing that they do their domestique duty (without being asked)...I wonder in how many Pro sport one can find such attitude ?...Watching such video, definitely help in bringing more and more people towards this wonderful sport. The Wolf Pack is in essence the best of cycling, there are leaders of different sorts for different races and conditions. Each rider upon entering the Wolf Pack knows that ego is not tolerated, no rider is above the set lead wolf going into a race or a stage. Each has within a given environment a job to do. Cav has been my fav rider for many many years, though highs and lows I have followed him. Leaving the Wolf Pack was never the wisest choice but totally get why he did. The fact that the Wolf Pack allowed him back into their ranks shows how family. the family of the pack looks at how to ensure the survival of the fittest, Cav proved in Turkey that he had the ability to still sprint, he proved that he could get a sponsor to pay his wages within the Wolf Pack, he proved that he had the ability to not just win but give extra. What will be interesting to see is if he has the legs for one more session, that he has the ability to be allowed to race at the greatest show one more time. I hope that he does and manages one more win, Cavs legacy is already set in concreate, especially as he is a clean rider and has always been out spoken about people using. I hope that he is able to find a place going forward as a coach, as an example to those joining the Wolf Pack. He has the ability to transcend cycling like few before him and those that follow him. Keep prising those around you Cav for the support they give you, I remember you in Team Sky carrying water up and down the peloton providing total dedication to the task at hand, a world champion showing how leadership comes from the actions and deeds of an individual. Full respect to you mate
