Still trying to figure out which is more surprising: that Michael Longfellow's Bill Hader voice was accurate or that Michael Longfellow actually has a good celebrity impression. I always figured he'd be one of those SNL cast members who's not good at impressions, but is on the show because he's good at crazy characters and Weekend Update commentary.

Bowen is a Bill Hader kind of impressionist: he often throws in some old-timey references he loves that make people laugh even they have no idea who he's supposed to be. Counting the Titanic and his Chuck E. Cheese Commodores-like duo, this is at least the third time he clearly just want to pull a homage to 80s pop music.

Yeah, I was wondering how they were going to address the book. It was kind of a minefield: How do you be respectful to Britney, acknowledge the popularity of the book, but avoid wading too far into its contents and the related controversy? This was a good solution. I figured they’d make sure not to make a joke out of the book itself. When they did the Oops You Did It Again sketches, they were very careful not to make Britney the joke (or her clearly sensitive situation the center of the sketch). It made me respect the writers a lot more.
