Iran is backing the Houthis (Shia). Sectarian conflict has existed in the Muslim world for a long, long time. But it's important to note Saudi Arabia (and the UAE) is getting their arms from America. They signed an arms deal with America (alongside France, the UK and Canada) worth $350 billion over 10 years and $110 billion immediate.

I am so emotional right now. I am a Yemeni girl living abroad and I just can't stop thinking that it could've been me experiencing all this pain, suffering, and heartbreak. I went through a cycle of emotions, heartbreak, frustration, inspiration, and hope. 8 years of war (still ongoing) could have been easily ended in less time if it weren't for foreign intervention.
