Even with the anime and Neo, the series is way too niche, but he sure have the potential as moveset goes. Same story with Arle, people only care about the PuyoPuyo side but she used to have a full set of spells in old RPGs, and even was able to tame creatures pokemon-style at one point. Many characters have the potenial to make fun Smash fighters. ^^

what I learned is that a melee based build is absolutely possible I just haven't heard of 90% of the pins.

Absolutely is. I'd still have at least some form of negative psych damage and general not-short range combat since sometimes you just don't want to get in an enemy's face (and some enemies just shut down positive psychs) but there's plenty of great options like the grave marker line, the velocity pins (especially wolf), the microphone versions of vortex saber and Lance lunge. Melee builds also have good synergy since most of the attacks have high enough knockback/knockup to combo into each other. A great showcase of that is the playaround panthera cantus TAS by magmadiver88, or a video of mine titled stealthy vs hit counter if you're looking for actually humanly possible gameplay lol TAS is just too good

You can earn mingle pp without friends, if you sit in mingle for long enough random 'aliens' appear that give you MP.

@@Zei33 in the original DS game you can get randomly generated "Aliens" cards in Mingle Mode which will give 100 Mingle PP In Solo Remix for Smartphones, there weren't any Aliens so for a while Mingle PP wasn't easily obtainable, until later updates added offline Tin Pin Slammer practice mode which rewards it.

pins weren't removed but the way to activate them were changed mostly just the ones involving a microphone

@@notafbiagent473 but you can just double tap in a pin for making them in the sub commands so when you're in a fight just press the button on the bottom left for Activate the sub pins I use that a lot for pirokinesis and electric orb pins because even one says drag and the other is make a circle they still get in the way

Well on that same point...how did you get some of the evolution for the pin?i remember some attack pin need FP yeah? Do you have someone to play with?

I used cheats, of course. I guess your best bet if you wanna do it legit is to try and find UFOs on the mingle menu

@@negaman8479 I'd still just recommend using a PP cheat, because otherwise you'd be waiting for hours on end for enough MPP to evolve your pins. I'm not too sure how it goes on Solo and Final Remix, but at least on DS, definitely use a cheat.

​@@IrvinMenezesMingle PP still exists in Solo Remix, now you gain it by playing the Tin Pin minigame on your phone, and it was completely removed in Final Remix reworking certain evolutions. Also you dont need to fully fill the XP meter with Mingle PP, just by getting like a 10% of MPP then just battling will do.

If you're using an emulator, at least Desmume, check your hotkey configs. There should be a mic config, set it to a key and when you want to use it, hold that key and in this case just blow into your laptop mic.

After playing the solo remix for 250 hours and the final remix for 50 or so, I couldn't believe how bad the original sprites were when I finally went back to the DS version recently. It's basically unplayable.

Nigga, what. The sprites are great, especially for the DS at the time. They actually have more kinetic energy flow to them than the sprites in the ports do.

@@thebigchungus4515 You're nuts. Try playing the game on the DS lite's 256x192 pixel screen. Watch a youtube video on 240p and you'll be 80% of the way there. When it comes to sprites, I know what I'm talking about and the original game was extremely limited by the technology available at the time. The first thing you'll notice when you do is that the non-combat street walking sprite is basically a blue and orange blob. The combat sprites don't look as bad in this video because they've been blown up by an openGL renderer, but the reality is that the game on the original device looks absolutely terrible. You really can't appreciate how small the original screen was unless you have one in your own hands.

@@Zei33 That's really true, especially that last part. Comparing how my games look on an emulator vs my DS, it's almost incomparable. Not only are the sprites more full of life on the DS too, the game in general is more playable than the ports.
