@@spencercourtis9371 Did you know that SA was a first world country 80-90s. In fact we had so much advanced tech and systems ahead of alot of other spaces, all run by 6 million whites and gaining so much momentum that the secret societies had to fck up and break the fast stranglehold begining to overtake Europe and USA. We owned 50% plus of the majority breweries world wide, fck u Budweiser. Our SAA was voted best airline. Our military and equipment were being sold to far flung Floyd. Our rds were the best maintained. Mnet was fast catching up to the best. Our digital growth was phenomenal after TV introduction. Which by the way was invented by a Scotsman living here and refused by the Dom afrikaaners, for good reason. Yes, we know it's third world and seriously about to become 4th . As a German, I agree 100% with what is said in that video. EU is going down the drain, and the economy, especially in Germany, gets ruined to the core. Daily living is getting more and more expensive, especially electricity. The biggest problem is flooding Europe with young muslim men, so-called migrants. SA has its problems, but in comparison to Europe, it is doing very well. The main thing is that SA should stay away from green ideology and use its resources.

EU's energy crisis is due to the Russian's invasion of Ukraine. The EU is so beholden to Russia and the only way to go is 'green'. I agree immigration is a problem but how do we stop these civil wars in these countries so that people do not need to flee. One way is for the West to stop selling them weapons. However 'bad' Europe is painted its still great to live in a place where your basic needs are met and where there is performance base employment. Obviously things are not perfect... it's wonderful to live in SA if you are rich for everyone else it's a miserable existence.

One thing to keep in mind when you come over here. Do not expect the quantity of life you are used to in South Africa, but you will have a quality of life. I am quite satisfied with the small house I bought in the Netherlands, and I am living a modest life. I do not need more than I have now. I can pay my bills, keep my family fed, and I can still go on holiday. What more do I want? Not even to mention that I can walk around at night without fearing being robbed or killed, and my windows have no burglar bars. I will say, however, the majority of Europe is quite bad. I might look at retiring in South Africa someday, but it depends on the state of the country when that time arises.

I would encourage you to remain in the Netherlands for your autumn years, regardless of how much better South Africa might be doing by that time. I find it selfish that someone would abandon a group project and then expect to reap its rewards along with those who actually stayed behind to work on it. It is also a further slap in the face of every patriotic South African that your return is conditional.

As a South African Indian who won't qualify to live in Orania I have to admit they have the right idea and are doing well.... the lesson to learn from them is that they are doing it for themsleves, look at the community side of it and the non reliance on governemnt. We can all build such communities based on other common principles that keep the community devoted to a common purpose, they use their Afrikaans culture we could use something else.... don't throw the baby put with the bath water just because they make it Afrikaans only and we equate that with race...lets not dismiss the success story that we can learn from, if you listen to them with an open mind u will see that it's not about race but culture.... they don't let in non Afrikaans white people either so it's not race but culture.... let's take the lesson and leave out the racism....

If you’re looking at leaving, stay in South Africa. The rest of the world is in a state of decline. I’ve been in Australia for 15 years now. I will be moving back soon. The only way is up for South Africa, and that is the reality. Australia is in a serious housing crisis, salaries are being outpaced by inflation at rates unseen before. If you want to own your own house in Australia, you would be required to earn roughly $AU250,000 - $AU300,000 per year, or an equivalent of R4m per year. This house will cost atleast R15m ($AU1.1m), for the equivalent quality of a R3m house in South Africa. Land sizes are roughly 600m^2 in melbourne. Which is piss poor for the price you pay. Work hard, stay in South Africa, and I guarantee you’ll be laughing at people who left in 15-20 years time. If you have the means to leave the country, then you also have the means to stay and grind it out. You’ll not regret it, the grass is truely not greener on the other side. South Africa cannot be replicated, and you will have a void missing in your heart for the rest of your life. If you fear your life in South Africa, then I would recommend leaving. Other than that, it’s not worth it.

The truth of the matter is that there are places in every country worth living if you have the money. You will struggle to find competent governments in the western world. If you have money, you can find a decent home and live a decent life almost anywhere in the world. If you don’t have the money, then everywhere will be a struggle. SA should provide many opportunities but the unemployment rate suggests that most ppl are struggling and will be struggling for a long time. Only the privileged would suggest SA as a great option.

The word "privilege" has triggered my response so i hope you dont see it as an attack. Rather my experience. A lot of people make their own privilege and it's uncomfortable for me to even say this because it's every woman's right to have a child or not, but having worked for the past two decades plus for a state hospital in a department who's patients are pregnant there were many things I realized. Most moms were single or hadn't completed their education or were still doing so. Or living at home. Didn't work etc. My question is, why so many unplanned pregnancies. Surely, if we're so poor and underprivileged, how are our living conditions improved by having, sometimes, more often than not, multiple pregnancies - but the most i saw was 10 children and the other 14. Imagine If those children attending school and noticing what other children from 2-children families have, they will no doubt feel envious or underprivileged. How much does it cost to raise a family, to provide housing, food, and clothes, medical care, transport, entertainment. Again, I repeat it's every woman's right to have a child but i think the timing of having that child is important. I don't want to explain myself ad nauseum for others to see the bigger picture and the correlation between family planning and privilege but it's there. Privilege is something we can create. No child asks to be born in poverty because it will surely lead to being underprivileged.

No sense of community, people just being shut off from one another, petty and bullies and lets not talk about the weather. We only came over as we wanted to experience "overseas" and while I don't enjoy my time here and will regret the time lost with loved ones at least we are able to to financially take care of both our parents from here as they do not have any other form of income. Unfortunately the trade off is not being with them so one has to sometimes wonder if its worth it. Currently saving as much as I can to eventually buy a house back home and move back permanently. It's only good money if you convert it back to rand. To live the equivalent of a South African middle class lifestyle you need to be very wealthy in Germany.

@@AapVanDieKaap That is why so many South Africans move back to South Africa, is because they don't have that much privilege abroad.

Germany is in slow motion collapse. Along with the EU. What we see on MSM is not what's going on, on the ground so to speak. Will be interesting once conscription becomes law, how many parents or youngsters will be willing to fight and die. Maybe better to head far flung places to avoid the bang and try ride out the fallout.

What I've noticed, not just Europe... every so-called 1st world country is bankrupt. Each govt overspends and goes, 'Oh dear, we need tolls!'. Etolls is not unique. Tolls, easy way for extra money... Another excuse I find disturbing: We don't have enough youth/people to help pay pensions for the today generation. Well, stop paying bank excos their massive bonuses!

I'm a British expat (here since I was 7, so I think of myself as South African). I have a two storey home with a decent sized garden. It's not a mansion but it's mine and almost completely paid off. I would never have this situation in the UK, my own relatives there are telling me this. I would live in a tiny miserable little hole I couldn't afford if I stayed anywhere near where there are still jobs. Britain has a lot of beautiful countryside, incredibly rich history & architecture, but its indigenous people, while decent & civilised folk, have become too weak & domesticated for their own survival. It's also a police state where you get a visit from the police not for your deeds, but for your opinions. The UK government uniparty (combined Labour and what's left of the Tories) is a demonic, lying blob that has blatant malice towards its own people, it's facilitating a demographic and cultural assault that hasn't been seen there since 1066. It's doing it for cheap labour, not because it cares about the welfare of illegal migrants or is worried about local fertility. I think I'll stay in SA for all its issues, thanks. Unless good ol' Julius became president. I think we can turn it around for everyone living here. The West, on the other hand, appears to be falling into an abyss.

You are as South African as the soil of South Africa. Once we embrace Africa and our homeland, Africa embraces us back. This is the land that loves and cares. We know we will always find love and warmth here at home. Yes, we have problems, but compared to the good of our nation and land, we have much more to celebrate. And we have hope that we will soon be out of the most of our manmade problems. And Julius and his party will never grow beyond being political toddlers coz the majority of South Africans are patriots and we love our nation and all its people.
