I am coming into the church this Easter vigil. I wondered if the priest am bishop were intimidated by the people. When they came into the parish and began to act the way they did it seems to me that would’ve been a mob mentality . I don’t know I saw the video and the priest sitting in the chair, and I wondered if he thought “Oh God, what have I allowed to happen?” Perhaps if we pray a Rosary with all the mysteries with these people as our intentions, there would be a change in their hearts. It all boils down to this: Satan knows that he is going down and he wants to take all of us with him. God made and loves these people. When people die and go to hell even if they made that choice, I believe Gods heart is broken. We just need to pray for them.

Forget trans for a moment - Why was the funeral of an atheist allowed in a Catholic Cathedral? Usually, the parish will ask if the deceased is Catholic and verify that by contacting the home parish. Why wasn't this done? Surely, St. Patrick's is in enough demand that the privilege of a funeral Mass is reserved for Catholics. The deceased being a trans activist makes me think this was planned and approved.

1- the priest uses the phrase “turned out” that’s a term with a specific impure connotation. He didn’t say “big crowd” or “showed up”, but there’s a pause for people to catch on. Sad. 2- a “process” isn’t what allowed rupnik’s crimes to go unpunished. A “conservative” priest has no problem getting his faculties pulled for any accusation or even a comment in a sermon. His excommunication was lifted and he has been protected by those who have the authority and duty to carry out justice. The laws are there, these aren’t new problems in the church. @@therealongI am fully endorsing the TLM because the rubrics don’t allow for ad lib from priests. It’s the same Mass in the USA as it is in Europe, Africa etc. That is what is beautiful about it. Because of the strict rubrics and the beauty that flows from it, there is no way a requiem Mass would have been allowed for a situation like the one at Saint Patrick’s Cathedral.

Indeed, they should have checked the background of "Cecilia" If this individual was not defacto Catholic, then no funeral was to be granted in the catholic house of worship. I can live with that. Yet most of the "audience" of Raymond Aroyo, in my view were as I stated FILTHY HELLISH HIPPOCRITES. Finally, this disjoint between treatment accorded to Rupnik versus "Cecilia" event was just absolutely NOT ACCEPTABLE. I think soon, we'll see some big event coming on the 06th day of the month this calendar year on the East Coast of U.S. May be that will wean so called "American Catholics" from this hellish hypocrisy & hatred. I couldn't watch it through this funeral service. It brings tears to my eyes thinking that priests, those who should be closest to Jesus Christ, who should defend the Catholic faith, defend Christ and be faithful to Him, those priests betrayed Christ and betrayed the Church and abandoned it to this crowd. I understand it is hard to defend the faith when facing the power of satan and people he is leading, but I would expect more from a priest. I thought these priests were mislead, but in face of this crowd, they knew exactly what was happening. Disgrace! These priests should be let go. I am a Catholic, I don't see how these priests can be trusted with positions of power, positions of responsibility, positions that demand a very high level of respect towards our one and only Lord. Absolutely disgraceful. These priests should be removed and immediately. They have failed to honor our Lord. I am shocked, I really am. How is this allowed in the Church of our Lord? In His face? In His holy presence, where there should be silence and sense of sacrum! These were shouts of the devils. These poor souls that were left to believe that this is what the Lord accepts because He loves us. I am no saint, I have sins on my conscious, but I have no doubt as to how one should behave in the presence of my King. I am shocked. That this is sweeped under the rug... Where are the articles about these priests being removed?

@@therealong The term 'Saint' has been completely devalued since Vatican 2. Other than Padre Pio I can think of no 'saint' since 1964 I'd be 100% certain of. In 1994 the grandmaster of Italian Freemasonry said "John XXIII was initiated into a Masonic Lodge in Paris and participated in the works of the Istanbul workshops."
