Us Brits were once a laughing stock in the culinary world but we've finally gained recognition for our beautiful produce, world class chefs and friendly atmosphere. Very proud to be a Brit 🇬🇧

*I've never understood the whole puting a teeniny piece of food on a plate & making it look all fancy & designer thing. And why only put a couple miniscule shavings of Beet on top of the meat? Stop w/ the miniscule portions, designer styling, molecular stuff, ect & just give me a good, hearty, delicious plate of food.* 🤷
@DragonwithaGirlTattoo6 жыл бұрын
shavings of beet were put top to represent what was under it. that is beetroot not meat. and that plate was not a meal. it was only one course of many in the whole meal.
@GoogleUser-tn2tz5 жыл бұрын
it's not just a per plate order. it's a set. miniscule portions ensure that you don't get full before dessert.
@gayleralan2 жыл бұрын
It's not always about loading your plate full of something. For example if you have a piece of ham, the taste is so much more different if it's wafer thin instead of some thick slab. To much of something can ruin the taste. It's not really about fancy, you wouldn't drown your chips in ketchup

@geoffgriffiths5756 жыл бұрын
England (and the UK!) is very well known for good food. It follows from having some of the world's top chefs cooking here. I have no idea on what you base your very strange statement.
@djpeekay255 жыл бұрын
pamela lewis maybe 30 years ago! But London is now the culinary capital of the world. The US has fallen way behind, as the quality of ingredients is very poor.
