Was there last weekend, drove from Sattahip, just outside of Rayong so, a 2 hour drive but worth it. The key is "hydrate", drink lots of water and get some shade if you can. We went towards the evening, so not as bad as daytime. Thailand is AMAZING!!!

I grew up on an orchard in New York USA ... child labor laws do not apply in the US IF it is with your immediate family (mom & dad). At age 4 I could pick up apples and put them in a wood crate - I got paid. I never had an allowance, I was given ways to earn money. By the time I started first grade I could make simple change for the bags of apples (& A LOT of other fruits, cider, honeys). I bought my own first car for $5,000USD and by 20 my own home. I "got around" to college in my late 20s. A great life for those lucky enough to have it.
