There is a tiny country on the edge of Africa that holds the largest number of military bases on earth. Everyone wants a piece of the country because of its location. Major world powers are involved in what can be characterised as the scramble for Djibouti. But is China getting the upper hand? #Djibouti #AfricaMilitaryBases #Africa

We see it well in Sino-Russian interests in the continent and Japan's condescending appeal to our "better nature" and apparent morality. All in the name of resources, no? Well there's new angry generations that will stand up and rage to such antiquated attempts at takeovers. We merely need to bury remaining dictator elements and disinfect minds...an arduous challenge. Challenge accepted.

Imagine the Middle East being united by one Mother Tongue i.e Arabic but each region with their own dialect, Imagine if the ME wasunited by one form of government i.e Khilafah and every region having their governors Imagine ME being united by one religion i.e Islam The Middle East would become one of the largest suoerpowers to date... Djibouti is our shame. Thought we were brighter for new colonizers.
@joseph_wei
@joseph_wei 4 жыл бұрын
France is the coloniser, they have been there for hundreds of years. Others are there I think for different purposes. Spain and Italy I think are guarding the entrance of Mediterranean Sea, which they are a part of. US has military bases everywhere so why not. Japan I have no idea why they are there, maybe because US asked them to share the cost. China is probably invited to balance the NATO control of the country, because all other countries are allies.

@Ilyas houssein you've clearly been brainwashed by western media, Djibouti never use to be an 'sovereign' state, it so-called gained 'independence' from the French colonization in 1884. Your still ethnically Somali and use to be part of greater Somalia. Just because these evil European powers 'gave' you 'independence' doesn't mean you don't belong to Somalia, their recognitions are base for their political gain and bear no bearing on the reality. In reality Djibouti belongs to Somalia. Somalia is not a brutal backward tribalistic nation. Somalia is rich in resources and will return insha'ALLAH. All your comments against Somalia are ironically typical European stereotypes which shows exactly how the European powers have brainwashed you to HATE YOUR OWN PEOPLE. Self hate at its finest.

Can't you see that most strategic important countries are small weak and defenseless!! Just like Djibouti, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, UAE, Panama and alot more !! The colonisers made sure to make these countries weak and small to maintain the neo colonialism.. They tried to do the same in the Suez canal in Egypt but abdelnaser localized it and it caused the Suez crisis war when Israel, France and Britain attacked weak Egypt all at once If not for the US and USSR hate to great Britain and France they would've managed to separate the Suez canal and maybe Sinai Or maybe annexed them to Israel..
