Amazing, we always try to make more and more complex mixes and stuff but forget what got us started and the beauty of the basics. I made a cocktail inspired by a margarita which I call the Atitlan It's the following : 4 parts Mezcal 2 parts blue Curaçao 2 parts lime juice Couple dashes agave syrup Couple dashes of mango infused simple syrup (or mango puree) Shaken over ice, strained into a martini glass and garnished with mint and pineapple leaves

Thank you for sharing your gift! You are always inspiring me! My three most popular drinks: #1 dexterous Key lime pie; 2 ounces but net scotch whiskey, 2 ounces fresh lime juice, 1 ounce agave nectar. Shaken over ice with four large mint leaves. Double strained into a chilled Tumbler glass and garnished with a shortbread cookie. #2 the Soylent green martini; 3 ounces vodka, 1 ounce extra dry vermouth, muddled with four green grapes and a half peeled kiwi, shaking over ice and fine strained into a martini glass garnish with four frozen green grapes. #3 The Woman; 2 ounces vodka, 1 ounce pomegranate juice, 1 ounce peach schnapps, 1 ounce freshly squeezed lime juice. Shaken over ice, strained into a martini glass and garnished with pomegranate fruit.

Last year I had no basil therefore our rosemary did great. So I tried a little twist on the Gin Basil Smash. I decided to use the Needle Blackforest Gin (it uses spruce branches as a special ingredient) and it fits perfect. Hope you like it: 1 rosemary branch 20ml sugar syrup 30ml lemon juice 50ml Gin give it a hard shake ;)

What a wonderful and simply cocktail to enjoy ! I love blending rums in my daiquiris and adding a layer of freshness by splitting the citrus juice in 2/3 parts lemon to 1/3 part grapefruit juice! Here's my twist on this beloved cocktail: 40 ml Rhum Vieux Agricole (Clement is my go-to) 20 ml Jamaica rum (a funky one such as Smith and cross) 20 ml fresh lemon juice 10 ml fresh grapefruit juice 2'5 teaspoons of white sugar (I prefer not to add any more dilution) Use a barspoon to mix the sugar with the citrus juices first, then add the rums and shake hard until really cold! (Those rums tend to be higher in proof, so I like to go hard in my shake to low the proof!) Thanks for your content! Salud! 🥂

I always prefer a dark rum, typically an Appleton signature, when it comes to making my daiquiris. Have also used plantation pineapple before which gives a twist. In terms of sugar, I have tried a demerera syrup 2:1 but drop down to .5oz instead of the typical .75/.75 sugar/lime split. You are very right that at the end of the day, it is all personal preference. That’s the beauty of the daiquiri.
