Join us as we experience one of the most breathtaking places in the Philippines 🇵🇭 Today we explore Surigao Del Sur in Mindanao. This is an underrated part of the Philippines not many tourists visit. We flew in to surigao city, rented a car and drove 5 hours to Hinatuan in surigao del sur. Our first stop was the Enchanted river here we saw the clearest bluest water in the world 😍 we then checked out the niagara Falls of the Philippines as we stopped off at Tinuy-an falls a beautiful but powerful waterfall. Lastly we cooled off at Bogac cold spring in crystal clear waters before heading back to surigao city. We loved our time in surigao so much and we were so surprised with how much it had to offer, it is definitely the clearest and bluest water in the Philippines 🇵🇭

Went there back in early 2000 was still able to swim in the main river with the fish, but you had to go out once the feeding starts. You can also go on a boat headed towards the fish pens where you can eat fresh seafood.

No dude… we have to gate keep it. What Filipinos in Manila know is just the tip of the iceberg berg. Visayas and Mindanao are just so rich. If Mindanao gets out of the Philippines because of the People’s initiative of the speaker of the house, then it might just be harder to come here. ;)

@@rommelriot oo naman… some really cool beaches are privately owned by rich families in mindanao and visayas… more are just out there.. with all sorts of sand… may golden, may pink, may grey to white… may marbles hehe even the nearby islands of siargao are not yet “discovered” well, people ..including tourists are now discovering suhuton cave, etc2x… still Sobrang dami pang ibang parts na hindi discovered…. ; in fact, just outside of this enchanted river, may tinatawag na vanishing island.. britania islands na sikat na so I can mention it here;, hot springs, cold springs, water falls na breath-taking na hindi pa rin alam ng nakararami… and oh, you’d love the the beaches of Jolo Sulu… tawi2x… malayo yung mga boracay etc2x.. (I do not want to compare pero Totoo yan) kase naman di rin ma develop because of the armed conflicts. May mga springs na Sobrang pristine ng waters… na pwedeng Inumin, Sobrang sarap and Tami’s ng tubig parang umi-income ka ng buko juice.. hehehe

If you guys are up to the challenge, try the Asik-Asik Waterfalls. It is located in Alamada, North Cotabato. It is one of the most beautiful waterfalls in the Philippines. Reaching the place is a challenge though. I mean it is a challenge because you have to go down so many steps just to reach the waterfalls. A metal staircase was built though.
