Some of these are not because they’re unsafe places to visit, but unsafe and unreachable for British people and consular services. Belarus is a “safe” country, but it’s hostile to the British authorities, hence if something happens to you, you’re on your own.

Around 6 months ago one of polish traveller has been there. He released 6 episodes on youtube from his journey, which were the most fascinating videos on his channel. The nature itself in there is beautiful, however if we talking about people living in PNG its totally different story. Their morality or beliefs is something, that you never find out in any other countries. Most of the time its even against any logic. For example, one guy died quite young, around his 20, and all blame was on his mother, because people in village believe she is a witch and needs to be killed. Nobody wants to be educated there, because if somebody finish some university, whole family, or even village wants all money that he can earn from that person. And these are just 2 example that come to my mind now, but there was plenty more, that I heard from missionary, that was guide for that traveller. These missionaries to change that and educate them about morality, but looks like we would need another 100 years to change way of thinking of whole society in PNG. You can see that in "Vlog Casha" channel, however most of the laungage is polish. (English is maybe like 20% of the content)
@pbanaszek2 ай бұрын
Also, a little bit about woman perspective in this country, that I found out in one of the comment below one of his video, written by mother of one of that missionary. She has been there 2 months: "everything is decided by the tribal elders, girls or boys do not know how old they are, they get married if the elders decide that the girl is already "pretty" enough to be a wife and mother, boys have to work to have money to pay for a wife, the amount is decided by the tribe , the prettier and educated the girl (whatever that means for them), the higher the pay. Women give birth to 10-15 children. The most important role of a woman is to be a mother and a submissive wife, men are the warriors of the tribe and they don't have to do anything for the family. Women have a very hard life - their husbands often use physical violence, but they have been taught that this is how it should be. a white woman is of great interest among Papuans, I was welcomed very nicely and with "honors" Each village sent its representative, there were welcome speeches, gifts and the joy that the mother came to visit her son. Being in towns or villages, there is a real stir because of a white woman, different style of clothing and different beauty. They smiled at me, waved hello and gave me that nice handshake. It was an amazing impression, I told my son that they treated me at least like Princess Diana. On the next trip, the men went with us to protect us. An unforgettable impression"

Hey man I noticed that there is this one channel called "Engima Chronicles" who seems to be uploading videos with the exact same script you use just with an AI voiceover with videos titled very similarly to the your video it takes from. It also uses what I'm assuming to be AI as well for the background images of what is being talked about. The first video I saw of the channel doing this is your video about sea levels dropping by 1000 meters. From my relatively quick search I found another one about Guyana's economy.

Someone should make a satirical take on the UK travel advice, but for the UK itself. Even before the recent far-right bullshit, by their own metrics I think the FCDO would advise against all travel to places like Birmingham and Doncaster, all but essential travel to Central London and Essex, and warn tourists of the dangers of pubs, roundabouts, and self service checkouts.

I think the reason North Korea is orange instead of being green is due to the cold relations it has with America, the UK's biggest ally. If anything happens between the DPRK and USA, then the UK will likely get involved on the American's side, which would probably be bad news for any Western tourists who'd likely be at risk by the NK Government, who, I don't think they'd kill or harm any tourist, but the NK Government have been known to imprison American tourists for any tiny excuse, to use them as a pawn in negotiations for more favorable terms with the American government.

I'm an American, not British, so i'm not sure why this came up on my videos to watch. It doesn't really look like they are taking much consideration into things like being murdered by the locals or a victim of a crime. There are certain parts of big cities in the United States that I wouldn't go to and probably would advise others not to go unless you have to and you are armed. As many of you have said in the comments, a lot of this seems to be for political reasons. And that's probably true but that doesn't mean political reasons aren't good reasons. For example, many of these countries mentioned like Iran, Russia etc give you a high chance of being wrongfully imprisoned/detained because of your nationality. I know a lot of people have said they have gone to places like Russia several times visiting family and felt safe. But that's a little bit different if you already have roots/ family connections in the country and are pretty familar with how things work there. But if you don't, it would probably be a bad idea to just go to some of these places for vacations/tourism. Being detained, heavily questioned, and accused of being a spy is a real possibility.
