It’s mind blowing the transformation of content Yes Theory creates now. It was incredible in the beginning focusing on interacting with each other along with humor. Now the scale is so much higher resulting in National Geographic/Travel Channel level stories while still keeping the original views and feel about the the whole aspect. It’s truly incredible. The whole team is amazing.

I didn't follow Yes Theory from the start. When I read a comment on another recent video that their content was becoming 'worse', I had to dig up to the existence of Yes Theory only to find out that they get much better as time goes on. Perhaps not for folks looking for light and repetitive no-thinking needed content. But for people who appreciate exploration, learning new things and trying to stay in-tune with how the world around us revolves, this channel is dope!

I have actual mental health disorders and a psychotic condition and I always assumed that everything and anything that happens when I'm in hospital recieving treatment is shared information going towards studies and understanding of these disorders so I actually don't understand if a app wants to collect data to build a sort of database to help towards something that can help treat people in the future then why can't they 🤷‍♀️

@@Charmaineandstrawberries because they explicitly stated that they wouldn't collect patient data (which is already by law private, and subject to regulation regarding it's safe and secure handling) and then oh, whups! they went ahead and did it anyways. My question is how were they able to SEE to move around in those centuries before the invention of the electric light? I mean, even carrying around torches/propping up wooden torches or even olive oil lamps for 15,000 people and their livestock would have required them to set aside a HUGE amount of resources (and that's not even considering how they CONSTRUCTED these multi-level underground habitations) Congratulations on getting to experience and thanks for sharing it with us!

That's exactly what I just wrote.. I don't know how it's not talked about more? Even if they did use fire sources there would be signs of it embedded into the rock all through out that place. It's such a complex place that I can't imagine it was meant to experience in near darkness.. Like you said that's not even taking into consideration just how challenging it must have been to build all of that structure...? It's one of the most fascinating and interesting places on earth in my opinion. I thought this was Derinkuyu in Turkey at first but it's very similar to it. I wonder if a little ice age was what motivated this to exist? I hope we find answers one day

I would so love to live in a place like that. Constant cool temp, safe from whatever chaos is happening outside, perfection to be sure. Sign me up! Find a way to get some wind turbines and solar and/or hydropower if there's nearby water source and you can set up underground hydroponics to grow food, some food animals if possible, and you'd be set for life. Love it! Figure out a septic system and water well so that's handled. There would have to be a way to hide the solar/wind equipment and hide the entrances to the caves for safety purposes (and so no one steals your electric equipment), but if you could manage that, no one would even know you're there if the world went to hell in a handbasket and destroyed itself. How cool is that!

@tuftedgarbl0r120
@tuftedgarbl0r120 3 ай бұрын
Betterhelp is being exposed for allegedly scummy practices. Though BetterHelp is not a direct scam, it has had a history of overcharging patients for subpar service, and is mostly sustained through the use of aggressive marketing through influencers. Many accounts have been told of the company simply charging people for services they didn't ask for, as therapists can mark down their clients for services without any confirmation. Additionally, cancelling from BetterHelp is an extremely difficult process, as the company will stall and stutter while still charging the client. Finally, the licenses therapists on BetterHelp claim to have vary widely in quality, from patients allegedly being assigned to anybody from crystal healers to homeopathy peddlers.

So on top of how mind blowing it is how they even built that in the first place.. It's even crazier to think what it would be like if there wasn't all those little LED lights everywhere.. If they used fire there would be Tons of embedded soot all over the place.. But they had to have found some way to get light down there.. Right? I wish these videos were longer because you guys go to and cover such awesome places but it still can all feel soo rushed.. It's okay it's still amazing.

These caves are insane, and even crazier that it’s the largest apocalypse bunker that people actually lived in!

It's not an apocalypse bunker. It was a semi-permanent underground settlement.

These can be used to survive and ice age or floods such as the mud flood. With the size, interconnection, sophistication and effort put into these, they were not EMERGENCY, they were the state of society, or what survived of it. My theory anyways. Oh, and its probably more like above 12 000 years old, the last global catastrophie I know of was then.

That's kinda trippy af when you think about it from a human timeline perspective. We're deffo gonna head back underground in the future. Be it man made distater or being clarted by some huge space rock.

Unliked and unsubscribed, and I will keep doing this until the algorithm catches on. Getting paid to promote a scam that targets the most vulnerable people is absolutely unforgivable. The youtubers who promote it should be considered complicit to all the lives this company ruins.

Oh no 🙁 I’ve also commented on other content creators advertising betterhelp as well and now here too. I’ve given better help multiple chances, especially when I couldn’t afford “regular” therapy, and can speak from experience that their quality control is very lacking. Now having experienced life changing help from great therapists, I can say better help was more damaging than helpful as it made me want to give up after getting more and more disillusioned by bad help. There’s also something so damaging about playing tinder with mental health professionals- to be able to pick up and drop therapists at a whim without talking it through really does something hurtful, especially to people with loud, distrustful outer critics or ones with insecure attachments. If you’re tight on funds, try to ask for sliding scale with a therapist if at all possible sitting in person. We underestimate the power of being in the actual presence of someone else and how healing it is. Also try to find someone that specializes in your area of need. If they have listed EVERYTHING as their expertise then that can be a sign too. No hate on the yes theory though; I’d like to believe that they wouldn’t endorse things that they truly think are bad and have bad intentions just for the money. ❤
