After listening to the man of valour Chaka Bars speak about the genocide that took place in Congo and the inhumane treatment of the people in that land, it confirms on a greater level why The Most High God has been teaching me and ministering unto me about power and wealth. The genocide would not have had room to disrupt all those precious valuable lives in Congo if it were not for desperation, greed, hate, selfishness and abuse of power. The man Leopold, disregarded the livelihood, welfare, and value of the people of Congo because he was dealing with debt and financial challenges. And His agendas of course were not at all pure towards Congo. His desperation for wealth, gain, power, and control shaped his mindset to the point where he was not able to exercise power that is pure, healthy, sovereign, and full of light. And when I heard Chaka Bars state that he even tried to use The Messiah Jesus Christ as a way to gain destructive control over the people he was destroying revealed even more how he was not in any place to respect or show honor to anyone or anything. Because no one, in their right mind and who is full of light, will try to use The Messiah Jesus Christ as a scapegoat in order to dehumanize and defile the value of a person's life. I see why Jesus Christ makes it His business to teach His people about character, and teach people how to handle abundant living and the fruitful benefits that come with such a life. He also teach His people how to handle the challenges that come with this life. He will never teach His people to disrespect a human life. Because it is His power that backs character. It is His power that backs a life that is fruitful and abundant. And it is His power that backs a life that is content in any situation, (whether a person has just enough or more than enough). It takes His wisdom and His intelligence to teach people how to govern themselves accordingly in this walk, especially when dealing with the value of someone else's life. If desperation, debt, financial struggles have enough control over a person, where they are willing to place the lives of others in harm's way and disregard their rights as a people, then he or she is unfit for power and unfit to handle and govern wealth or even the welfares of people. I am truly thankful that this clip was shared. Because it gives me a deeper appreciation for The LORD and God that I serve and minister to. And it is clips like these that make me give myself heart checks and re-examinations of my inner man, because I do not ever want to abuse power and abuse people and the intimate value they identify with. People are a delicate expression of God's breath and no one has the right to try to redefine that, especially through wicked and evil agendas that cater to destroying the origin of who we are in God's image. And speaking of God's image, I also see that the man of valour mentioned he was born in the Caribbean Islands. Since he is very keen in historic knowledge, I am wondering if he know by any chance if his lineage is connected to the Jewish lineage. Because the first communities in the Caribbean were inhabited by Sephardic Jews and they also helped build the nations and islands of the Caribbean. I hope he does not mind me asking that question. I just think it is a beautiful thing when we are able to understand the roots of our identification as a people. Shalom
