thanks for addressing the battlescroll at the start Rob - I've got a 2 dayer on the 10th Feb, list submission is this Friday and I'm running Cities. I've got absolutely no idea what to do and what list I can turn up with - seems weird if the army gets a pts increase and rule amendments and I'm there running it all as if it was pre-battlescroll....

Absolutely on point with how GW is managing the battlescroll updates. They made promises they can't keep. We had 1 year of on time updates and then September 2023 they started to screw up. They really should do better.

For LVO - you should check out the NH list that ran almost all crossboos. They went 3-2 (3-0 after day 1) but the list is worth looking at it and trying to picture the mayhem

Wow Necrons and Cities, who would have thought, haha. This will definitely be a stand out LVO for years, this is real life lol. Both were pretty fun list and definitely show the potential of what is to come for both games moving forward in 40k and AoS. Im really happy to see the necron player base adapt to the changes of 10th and the new codex, overcoming beautifully and winning at other GT's prior to LVO

Daggok's Stab-ladz are really interesting. 70 points for more wounds then Hobgrotz, also being Orruks, so venom encrusted weapons work for them, more wounds and 4 models for simplified coherency rules. I want to try them in Big Yellers, 5x4 for screening, 4x6 Man-skewer, 4 Shamans, 1 Snatch Boss. Marching castle with excellent damage output. Probably unconventional way to play Kruleboyz.

Nice seeing cities win.... but looking at the rules of them... i fully expected them to go that hard when the book got released 😅 Personally, i feel like an easy fix would be to limit the command korps to 1 That might be a bit harsh, dont know... They should limit the spy ability to once per army like they did with the warforger. And heal stacking is also a problem

Command ability deny is terrible game design. It’s literally making the game less interactive and removes resource management. The thing that makes aos fun gets denied on a 4+, wtf.
