I did get my hands on one. And it did suck. I contacted game about it and they told me to send it back and they would look at it. Two weeks later they told me they would send me a refund. I ask them if they would send me a Trion instead and they said sure. So at least i got a Trion out of it. They do have really good customer service.

The sliding part on the magazine is probably what activates the slide lock on the blaster. Problem is, it stops right before the mag lips so that means the blaster has no way of knowing if the mag has one dart left or if it's empty. Major design oversight.

My younger brother has the pre-gameface version of this blaster and his runs awesomely. No jams or weird lockups, gravity drops the mags, locks open and charges properly. So I don't know what Gameface did to this design, but man that sucks!

Game Face will have an in house designed pistol released sometime in 2024 according to their marketing person who runs their Instagram. I wore them out with “cheeky” comments and they finally commented on the release.

I use the Amazon version SP 50 from last year, they sent me the all blackout can't use in public one. Hits 120 consistently. Compatible with Nightingale mags out the box. I believe different internals?

Realistically there are only three or four places to put the PT of a springer "pistol", so calling everything that's got an under - barrel PT a "gecko clone" eventually becomes a stretch.

The point of the thing on the side of the mag is so that when it’s empty, that part will push the slide lock up from the inside and lock the slide back. The same feature is seen on real handguns

I own a Dart Zone Outlaw. That's a great secondary weapon. The FPS Averaged about 129. It's not as high as I'd like. I prefer 150+ FPS. But the ergonomics, accuracy, and distance are really good.

How have nerf blasters just become the toy guns with the consistently worst quality on shelves, despite NEEDING higher-power parts to function than airsoft or gel blasters? There's Hasbro with their...everything, Dart Zone with recent failings in the Omnia, Buzzbee's everything, and now Game Face, the PINACCLE of "I need an airsoft rifle for $50 fast for an event with my friends", made this. 3D printed, they're fine. In fact, NERF blasters have the consistently HIGHEST standards in places like Etsy and Ebay, mostly due to modding. But the retail products just...kind of suck lately.

Yes they are. Before the trion theyd only released cheap airsoft crap so im guessing this doesnt change much. The designer of the trion (whos sometimes active in the yt comments) explained somewhere he was against them selling the geon from the start and since it turned out to suck so bad they had to pull it from sale he was working on improving the design to be rereleased later.....like the omnia....but their website doesnt mention the geon at all anymore though so maybe he couldnt manage to make it redeemable haha. The trion is basically a side project gameface hired someone else for. And then they did the geon themselves like their airsoft products, without the trion guy, reusing an existing cheap chinese design instead of letting him design something from scratch.
