Fortnite is becoming more corporate ran and less like a game that has care behind it. The item shop is 30 pages long and its mostly collab skins, and the "live events" are just miniature concerts where you stand there and do nothing for 10-15 minutes then they play a pre-made trailer that you can see on KZbin after. Live events are supposed to be something you wanna be in to experience, not just an on-screen miniature concert with a trailer after that you can easily see later. Its very comparable to the Ready Player One plot, and I guarantee in 5 years there's gonna be advertisements within the battle royale, artists on every inch of the map and overall the game is just a giant corporate money grab.

Yeah I agree. As someone who has been playing since chapter 1 season 3. I think this is the best way the season could have gone. Adding new content with an og feel to it. (Even though Ice Spice does feel random)

the event wasn't even meant to be a genuine event and I think that should've been clear to people, no big leaks or anything of the map, no downtime after it, all they said was prelude and located at reels so if people actually put two n two together they'd know it wasn't anything to get hyped for just a sneak peak
