These mobile game companies typically outsource their full development process and slap together something quickly so wouldn't surprise me if they outsource their advertisements too, the company making the ad probably doesn't know or care about the game they just want as many clicks as possible to make their money, so they make ads like these. Also chrome is going to make adblockers much less effective when they do their manifest v3 update, so you better get ready to switch to firefox or a chromium browser like brave which has inbuilt adblock.

if you disable java on your web browser you can read the text of the article without the popup that makes you turn adblock off or pay coming up. the only issue with this method is I forget to re-enable it and then get pissed off when youtube suddenly isn't working. also get sponsor block

You can get rid of even more ads if you set up a pi-hole and wireguard on your network, that way you can block ads on your phone wherever you are by just tunneling to your home network which blocks ads.
