The bullshido stuff is really painful to me because not only does the swordsman completely comply all the time but also uses a completely wrong technique. They almost always prepare for attack by telegraphing it and pulling the sword so far back you'd think they're trying to reach around the globe and hit their oponent in the back.
@Likexner2 ай бұрын
This gives me flashbacks to playing Chivalry and doing the overhead slash while looking up at the sky and turning my back to the opponent. It was pretty much a way to cheat without actually cheating.

The are actually scratching their backs right before they hit.
@shrootskyi8152 ай бұрын
Another thing these demonstrations frequently get wrong: they don't "follow the blow." The swordsman only starts to move their hands after they starts stepping in. They should start the attack first, and thus present a threat to his opponent, before closing in. But the way they do it, they just step in while completely exposed, giving the "master" free rein to do whatever they want.

Just an FYI for Tyranth on coming to the US it's not a total free for all, you as a non-resident will not be able to carry a firearm here legally. You can shoot one at a range that allows rentals or a private range (still holding out hope for a Demo Ranch Shadiversity collab) but unless you aim to move here you won't be able to carry one around with you.
