Yeah, I'm not sure of 2011 was the worst overall March Madness ever...but the 2011 National title game was definitely the worst final ever. Just absolutely horrible to watch. Butler scored in the FORTIES!!!! Unreal that a team could score that few points w/a three point line and a shot clock. All credit to UCONN, a well deserved win, but lord that final game was brutal

This NCAA tournament is why I’m a sports fan and a Butler fan to this day. Before the tournament I filled out a bracket for the very first time not knowing any teams or anything. I picked a team that seemed familiar to win it all. I picked Butler to win it all. So I became a Butler fan as they kept on winning and it looked like my random prediction could turn out right. The excitement I got from this propelled me into sports fandom. Because of this tourney and this game I am who I am today.

AWhiteOreo wait a minute, what?? The 06 Cup Finals between Edmonton and Carolina? I loved that series. An 8 seed underdog with a championship history but no business being there like Edmonton against the favored Canes who never won it before. Game 1 was a wild score fest that ended 6-5 w a 3 goal deficit overcome and a brutal goalie error deciding the game when the starter in net got hurt. Carolina goes up 3 games to 1 but Edmonton battles back winning on the road on a thrilling it breakaway goal, wins gm 6 at home, forces game 7 which is a 1 goal game into the final minute with some wild saves on both ends before an empty netter seals it for the Canes... No, terrible series :-)
