I like how people can still fly the American flag as if that flag did not fly over slavery and many other atrocities, but the Dixie flag (which was not the flag of the entire confederacy) is just blacklisted forever? Fly what you want, you’re only a racist if you’re a racist. I support the American flag, a lot more than the Dixie, but neither were designed to be racist at all.

I've met black bikers who wear the Confederate Battle Flag on their vests. They see it more as a symbol of rebellion against a repressive government.
@gregorsamsa1364 Жыл бұрын
The US flag is the flag of our nation The Confederate flag is not. It's the flag of a terrorist rebellion against our nation, the primary purpose being to preserve the right to own black people as farm equipment(as very explicitly stated in official state secession declarations). The US flag doesn't even begin to equate to the rebel flag. That's absurd af. So yeah, fly what you want. It's your right to do so. But don't be surprised when people suspect you're either a racist or a very ignorant person

I believe with just teensy bit of effort (expecially getting the model out SOONER) along with marketing along with an actual real race budget? This 250 plaform COULD have been competitive! Using conventional rear shocks and losing the dumb engine disc brake for example....To quote a Brando charaacter ine? It "coulda been a contender" It "coulda been SOMEONE" They just failed to take advantage and WORK trusting diligence to pay off in the end....they lacked the heart Heck even the weird immovations might have worked IF they hired the right people and riders to WIN races...I dont believe the management at Harley has ever loved motorcycles (in any decades after WW2 era anyway. Great video--very nostalgic for this old fart. There is one minor faux pas at 3:19 though; you continue describing specs for the Sprint, but have a picture of a '71 Yam R5. In the summer of '70, I wanted an HD/Aermacchi Rapido 125 that was on display at the local H-D rathole so bad I could taste it (and it was a rathole--it was basically a greasy garage with a few new motorcycles on display). I settled for a '73 Kawasaki G5 100 several years later.
