Unfortunately, this film was a huge success in Poland. I don't know why, but every new Polish film attracts a lot of Poles. Filmmakers know this and so they do not try at all, but simply copy ineptly from abroad. A good example of this is the work of the director Patryk Vega. If someone wants to take the desired dose of crige, I recommend watching some of his movies. He is not fond of critics' opinions or the opinion of viewers. No matter what he shits out, people will come to the movies anyway. It pisses me off why such shit like "356 Days" stands out abroad and represents Polish cinematography and the movie "Corpus Christi" goes away without any publicity. The best Polish film of the last decade. I was glad to be nominated for an Oscar. I thought then that this would set an example for others to make decent movies. But apparently it's more profitable to produce shit. PS If someone wants to watch a Polish movie, I highly recommend the above-mentioned "Corpus Christi" and the movie "Gods".

You know, I doubt this movie's goal was to win an emmy. Or Oscar, or any other international award for that matter. Different countries have different standards, and even though Poland has some great movies, I'm sad to say that overall our movies are average, and nobody cares if a stinker gets released, cause yunno. Why would they xD And it was heavily advertised here in Poland, a romantic comedy released on Valentines day, so you knew people were gonna watch it, so like they had no reason not to greenlit it. Fun Facts! 1.) It's based off of a book series and the story gets progressively worse. 2.) The author is now considered a joke in the Polish writing community. The book is literally a self-insert (the author used her own face on the cover and tried to make the character look like her as much as possible). 3.) Poland is sorry. 4.) Netflix is shit for Greenlighting this film in the first place because if the guy was ugly and poor it would be considered horror. He sexually assaulted Laura multiple times before, after, and while he told her he won't touch her without her permission. 5.) The mafia isn't that cool so relax. 6.) This will never happen in real life so relax. 7.) This movie tries to pander to women by making it seem like the perfect fantasy when it portrays women as simple and will enjoy a kidnapping if they get to shop. 8.) Saying "are you lost, baby görl" will most likely get you slapped across the face. Very hard.
