Hi Emily! Thank you so much for posting career advice. I love watching your videos! I'm gearing up to look for a new role within my industry in 2025. I have two connections that work for a company I would ideally love to work for. However, there is a ton of competition. Unfortunately, these connections are not people I know very well, and I have not worked closely with them. I do work with people that have worked closely with them though. I'd love to see a video with your thoughts on reaching out to connections whether a role has already been posted or not.

What if I tell them a not so high number but something which is being paid for the role in the market but the they respond like ‘Sorry its not possible for us’ what to do then?
