From Mario to Pikachu to Donkey Kong to… that guy from Urban Champion, few companies create iconic and memorable characters as often as Nintendo does. Often considered the Disney Studios of the gaming industry, it’s no stretch to say that Nintendo has changed the face of not only the video game industry and pop culture in general. While we may remember the most iconic characters as being the face of their company, for every Yoshi or Link there are plenty of lesser characters who are annoying, forgettable or downright bizarre. Whether they be mainstays in their series or random one off characters never heard from again, today we’re picking out our least favorite characters we’ve found in our favorite games.

I used to watch Nathaniel bandy all the time. I'm not sure why I don't get videos recommended from him anymore, but I don't get why he's being talked about like he's absolutely perfect. There are some videos of his I didn't like because he made some incredibly ridiculous mistakes like how he called baby Bowser in Mario and Luigi partners in Time, Bowser Jr like as if it was Bowser's son when you went back in time and you went against the baby version of Bowser. I mean he kept calling him Bowser Jr when it's the same Bowser as the one you go against but a baby like in Yoshi's Island and it was annoying that he kept doing that. I can name other examples of things I didn't like that he did but I'd rather just stick to one so I don't just sound like I'm just whining all the time. I still think Nathaniel bandy is pretty great but he's not perfect

With an awesome dinosaur character like Yoshi who's according to the top 10 lists on the internet is the most loved Super Mario character of them all. It's obvious with a great character there's gonna be the people who hate him, and think he's annoying, but they're probably just jealous of how great he is.

I don't think the dog deserves such a position, let's see, despite the fact that he laughs at you, in Smash he is cuter in general with a more cartoony appearance next to his little ducky friend and at least in Smash he doesn't have that annoying laugh if not a "normal" laugh (yes, my secondary main in Smash is Duck hunt)

I disagree with duck hunt dog because when you don't have dialog in your game duck hunt dog is a good example of giving a character personality without speech. And it's my interpretation why duck hunt dog laughs at you, as incouragement to do better. PS I am a duck hunt main so take what I say with a pinch of ocean sea salt.

Idea: The Worst Forgotten Video Game Mascot (and Why They Suck) Basically the idea are Video Game Mascot that try to live up to the legend like Mario or Sonic but always come short, and in this case, Their main central character turn out to be either annoying or forgettable, some even being so bad, it kill their franchise before even getting anywhere.

As far as the Duck Hunt dog goes, there is a horror game based on Duck Hunt where you actually get to shoot the dog. However, if you do the dog comes back to life and tries to kill you. MatPat did a theory on that game.

The most ridiculous part of Negative Man is the fact his battle theme is "Strong One" For those of you that haven't played Mother 3, this is the same theme used for extremely powerful PSI statues that can absolutely destroy you, and the theme remixed for the commander of the Pigmask Army

happy april fools day!!! :3 i never really found navi annoying(i love midna whose tbh the best one along with tattle and would take her over the zelda in that game as outside a few areas she's mostly generic.)/do feel that story element of her leaving link was fleshed out more and would say fi is way worse(outside botw where i actually loved her callback.). only found slippy annoying in 64(tbh find falco more annoying in 64.) at the fight with the space station robot getting him flung to titania after foolishly going at it(do find fox saving him heartwarming though showing he cares for his team.:3) and actually liked him in assault and especially zero.(does sound a bit like tails at points imo though.) louie definitely deserves that spot as while i found it funny in 2(outside that creepy implication he was controlling the final boss to attack olimar.) he was really annoying in 3 that i would've preferred he got left behind on the planet. would put pink gold peach(should just make the metal box an item instead of wasting slots with it,generic enemies/npc's or clones/babies.) on the same level as adam as his moments wrecking samus in that game really were the biggest showing of how bad it's direction was as it gets idiotically toxic at points(that if handled better would've made more sense if other m was a prequel like the manga showing him growing to his fusion characterization.). and would put kiddy(he was pretty annoying,chunky was a better handled concept & was just a pointless dk clone because he got kidnapped again when it could've been a bookend with dk adventuring with dixie.) in the barrel blast racers spot.(do think it's odd chunky kong or krunch didn't show up.)

Honestly, I kinda like Slippy. Yes, he’s getting chased by enemies 99,999999999999999999999% of his home series, which can annoy anyone (From the players to even Falco himself!), but 1: that’s what makes his charm and 2: it’s not his fault if the enemies target him (Even though he’s the worst of the four when it comes to piloting a ship.) the most often. He's just trying to help his friends, but gets in trouble on the way. Ps: Why didn't you mention Pigma? To my eyes, he's even more annoying than Slippy. But honestly, I think he was made to be hated.

My 10 least favorite Nintendo characters are 1 Fi ( skyward sword, navi gets too much hate, fi on the other hand i despise) 2 Adam Malkovich ( metroid other m specifically, he's an asshole, but I love him in fusion and dread ) 3 Kertsy ( paper mario sticker star, starrlow without charm ) 4 Peach ( mario, I just never liked her ) 5 that swamp boss ( DKC2, I hate this boss ) 6 Jimmy T's family ( warioware, jimmy t is my favorite character, but his family is filler ) 7 Tiff ( kirby right back at ya, I'm cheating but I'm counting her. I don't like Lisa Simpson, she's a more whinnie version) 8 Starlow ( mario and luigi, not the biggest luigi fan myself but her ribbing is annoying ) 9 Boom Boom ( mario. he's a very overused boss for no reason other than nostalgia for mario 3, he rarely changes as a boss so he's also very samey ) 10 palutena ( kid icarus uprising, I hate how palutena treats pit, I also hate the Greek godess she's based off of athena )
