As massage therapist apprentice, I really appreciate this series. I benefit a lot from the anatomy breakdown, the side by side comparison video (GOLD) and seeing the actual treatment and the rehab exercises. I'd like to see some general neck work or releasing swollen scalenes. Thank you so much.

Dealing with first first injury(shoulder). Although it is annoying I do not regret lifting weights, it makes me feel good and I like the progression of lifting in general, injuries are part of the game, as long as they are not serious there is always a way to sort them out and prevail.

I tried to push through for my left shoulder… 9 months later still super painful. I loved what you said about mind, body, spirit!! I do meditation, massage, physical therapy, chiro, and ice. Lately, I had to have shots. Thank you for this video!! Congrats on your amazing bike ride 😎
@LexFitness11 ай бұрын
We've all done it! Not sure where you're based but the shots aren't going to help they're just going to mask the issue so if you're going through insurance for your medical then I would avoid them making $$$ off you and just offering relief that could just be causing you to carry for more damage. If the massage you have had wasn't THIS then I guarantee it didn't do anything to help either unfortunately. Try doing the homework Mytch sets at the end of our videos (check out previous shoulder ones alongside) as they can really help elevate and even pinpoint your issues and really see if you find someone who is specialised at working with bodybuilders or strength athletes for the massage as those guys tend to be the better end of the spectrum in terms of getting deep into problem areas as they will have had a lot of practice away from just mainstream issues 🤘🏼⚡️
@AngelekaL11 ай бұрын
Yes you are so right! The shots only mask the bigger picture. Thank you for getting back to me, and thank you for your kind words. I will continue the search and healing/recovery process for sure! Thanks so much for your encouragement, as always excellent videos!! 🙏✌️❤️

😆😆😆 its worth the pain trust us!! Also try to stay away from pain numbing injections if you can as they dont help anything long term and can actually give you a false sense of security meaning you go off and do things you shouldn't using the same compensations which are compounding the issue but you're just not gonna feel the Pain message telling you to stop! If you have a real tissue damage issue I would suggest BPC157 peptide for 8 weeks - look up Ben Greenfield BPC and have a read 👍🏼

Do stupid things win stupid prizes 😁 but it's all fun and a learning curve! Because Mytch fixed over 10 years of issues in Literally a few months!

Releasing Nerves or breaking down muscle knots is going to cause pain BUT there's this type of pain and then there is "oh shit!" type of pain ... hard to describe but you would know if you hit the wrong one! A little bit like doing intense stretches that cause controlled pain but benefits you afterwards.

Trigger Point Massage Therapy (not just deep tissue) - the problem is that this is really TRUE Sports Massage Therapy BUT most sports masseuses will not go this deep or work this close to nerves etc so they don't really help anything other than maintenance if you're healthy.

Can these issues lead to shoulder subluxation? Ive been having problems with subluxation for over 10 years. Start of this year i had a bad subluxation and my shoulder, especially front delt, has been pretty painful and stiff since. Unsure if i tore something or if everything has just tightened up. Also - is hanging from a bar good for correcting this or does it just create too much space in an already hypermobile and inflamed joint
@LexFitness11 ай бұрын
Sounds like compensation pain. You can also get front delt pain from rotator or scap issues in the rear of the shoulder joint - hanging three times a day for 3 sets of at least 30secs can work wonders to help this... in-between sets as well I have found really beneficial BUT in regard to a dislocation I can't think this would be recommended other than maybe doing it supported and just bending at the knees with feet on the floor to control the load pulling through the shoulder. You should also be doing strengthening work on the joint to help the surrounding muscles aid in its support which if you are not might explain the front delt pain from the scap, rotator and trap muscles all tightening up and compensating. Worth a thought.

I'd be interested in ankle pain around the back of the outer malleolus when crouching forward. I've had surgery on ligaments there and I've found that since, that ankle has lost a lot of flexibility in dorsiflexion and I'm not sure how to gain that back in a proper, healthy way.

Oh lets go to Target Oh no, nothing fits how sad Lets salvage it Oh gasp, all the things I shouldn't eat...but wait, I can justify it, its good...honestly....here let me list the reasons.
