Kanji was straight. The reason he felt attracted to Naoto when he thought she was a guy is because people told him his hobbies make him gay. He was confused and thought that if his hobbies make him gay then he must be gay so he had feelings for Naoto. Later on at the school festival he wants to see Naoto in the beauty pagent to cement his feelings. To be fair i could still be wrong, Kanji was always abrasive in both ways and its difficult to say for sure.

I do not understand the police thing? Like the whole POINT of Persona is that the adults in their lives kinda suck and you need to buck authority. That includes police. If anything, the more recent entries in the franchise are an indictment of the Japanese criminal justice system (especially apparent in P5).

out of the last 3 persona games, in 2 of them the police is explicitly the bad guys and in the other one the police is explicitly said to be useless and the only that helps the team is an ex policeman that was friends with the team's fathers

Ok so I'm not one to usually complain about this sort of thing but the censorship here is making the video nearly unwatchable. I'm a few minutes in and it feels like about every 4th word is censored and it's distracting to the point that I'm having a hard time following what you're saying

Oh I agree, KZbin kinda screwed me on this one and would demonetize the video if I didn't do this seemingly. Guess I swore too much during the stream lol. Normally I wouldn't care too much about a raw stream like this being demonetized but the video will get screwed in the algorithm if it is.
