Laura Wade I can’t definitively tell if you’re kidding or if you’re serious. If you don’t like the way a person talks then you don’t need to watch or listen to them. When new people come on this channel they get ridiculed so much and it isn’t fair. Here's the facts: If Cosmic Ray's is the 2nd busiest restaurant in the world, why would Disney bother spending the time and money to change things? Chapek only sees dollar signs, so that place is not a problem to him. I'm not understanding why Pete hates Sci Fi so much. We eat there a lot and always have good food. And I generally agree with Pete on dining.

I do think the change at CRSC to limit what gets served at each bay was a terrible mistake. I’m sure it was convenient for the cast members, but it was terrible for the guests. I’m glad they reversed it. I’ve always enjoyed the food I’ve gotten there. It wasn’t fancy, but I didn’t need fancy.

An excellent discussion, and I found it so reassuring to realise that, yes, there is a lot of really bad, overpriced food at Disney World. I love visiting the theme parks but when I leave Disney after a few days there, I always feel a sense of relief that I can return to the real world and eat proper food again.

Fiasco is dead on about Ohana, inconsistent and rushed, but he forgot to mention how greasy the sides are. The noodles and rice they served us the last three times are just drowned in oil. We always loved it there, but it's now number 1 for our worst list.

Mel Gloss we are going back to Disney next week and O’Hana is on our plans for dinner. The first time we went in 2016 was fantastic. Last year not so much in all aspects. We agreed that if the food is awful this time we won’t go back until we hear of them getting their act together lol.

as a former cm of restaurantosaurus, i couldn’t agree more with these statements. the restaurant is a great getaway for basic american style food but NEVER has seats available. i would spend so much of my time in the dining areas trying to find tables for the guests. don’t even get me started on the topping bar.... that topping bar has caused more tears than anything else on my time there. seriously, cleaning up shredded lettuce and cocktail sauce off that thing is one thing i only wish on my worst enemies. the restaurant itself has such great theming and hidden gems hidden around the restaurant but when i saw this title, it was a guarantee to know that restaurantosaurus was going to be listed.

What?!?! Cosmic Ray's is the BEST QUICK SERVICE at the MK! Even looking beyond Sunny Eclipse, I love their topping bar, indoor restrooms, and THEIR CHICKEN NUGGETS ARE THE BEST SNACK IN MK! So not sure if it cures all ills with it, but I have found if you go to 'Ohana early in the dinner service, it is a much more positive experience. It seems like they over book it and then get backed up and then feel they have to rush people through. But if you do like a 4/4:30 type reservation it is much less stressful

I think Fiasco’s Ohana mention was a bit over-dramatic. I agree that the skewered meats can be inconsistent, but I don’t think it belongs on a “worst” list, especially at a #2 spot. My list from my limited experience of dining in WDW: 3.) Be Our Guest for breakfast and lunch (dinner excluded!) Beautiful location and atmosphere...Overpriced, low quality food. When the best thing on the menu is essentially a grilled ham and cheese sandwich, that’s a problem. 2.) Sci-Fi Dine-In - What a letdown this was. Once again, awesome atmosphere but mediocre food. I had a better burger at ABC Commissary, and that’s the tea. 1.) Food court at Pop Century - My husband and I love this resort and it’s our go-to. However, the food court is just awful. We’ve only been here for dinner, by the way. Can’t speak for breakfast or lunch. I got some jerk chicken dish that tasted like a $2 Lean Cuisine I could eat at home. My husband’s curly fries were so over cooked and crunchy that my jaw was aching while eating them. (No joke! I regret not taking them back and asking for a fresh batch.)

1. Boatwright's Dining Hall at Riverside (dreadful flavorless slime, absolutely inexcusable given Disney's longstanding New Orleans connections) 2. Tony's Town Square at Magic Kingdom (what can I say about this place that hasn't been said already) 3. Tiffins at Animal Kingdom (overpriced, bland, deceptively promising menu that fails to deliver) 4. San Angel Inn at Epcot (Taco Bell served in one of the most beautiful spots in Epcot, disappointment doesn't begin to describe it) 5. Biergarten at Epcot (the only one on my list that's bad for reasons other than food: took forever to get seated, surly waiter, everybody at our table disliked each other, and there was nowhere we could go to hide)

If Cosmic Ray's is really the second restaurant in the world as they said, it does its mission well. Yes, it's unmanageable, but it's basically a mess hall. The food is okay, but I really like the theming enough to overlook the okay food. Besides, it's air conditioned, too. That counts for a lot.

For years, being rushed at the higher end restaurants and character meals is something that WDW really needs to end. I've had many bad experiences due to this, but lately I take a different approach: As soon as we sit, I very clearly let the staff know that WE WILL BE HERE at least for an hour. That seems to usually help, as it lets them know there is no pushing in throwing food and plates around

I am shocked about only Boatwrights! We were there in Nov of 2016 and everything was amazing. Our trip was 5 days long and that was easily our favorite dinner! The service was excellent and we still talk about the amazing food.

COMPLETELY disagree about Sci-Fi. My family went there recently, and we loved it. It's decent, Denny's quality food that is plenty tasty, if a bit overpriced. A burger meal is big enough to share, and they have pretty good fried appetizers. If you go into every restaurant expecting a culinary awakening like Pete seems to, you're guaranteed disappointment.

I don't think anyone would argue that the food at Rainforest Cafe is anything to write home about. I still love it, though, cause it's one of the last vestiges of that trend in big, heavily-themed novelty restaurants from the mid-90s. It's got super-kitsch appeal.

Mischief Managed oh I highly never recommend any of these terrible restaurants. I have good reasons for all Tony’s is the worst Italian food ever. Cosmic Rays too crowed plus the food is way overpriced. ABC Commissary same thing as Cosmic Rays. Hollywood and vine again terrible food and not worth the price you are paying for. Le Ceiler worst steak house I’ve been to plus the staff was extremely rude. I ordered a Filet I normally order it medium rare and it came out raw and cold. I asked to put it on the grill longer and it didn’t come back for another thirty minutes. Btw it was still cold.

I agree with Fiasco on O'hana! It used to be our favorite anywhere on property but the last two times we went we were super rushed. We were in and out in 45 minutes! For a $330 meal! The dumplings, the noodles, and all of the meat were super dry and the shrimp was way overcooked. So sad because it used to be so good!

We haven't eaten at Olivia's in about 2.5 to 3 years. Our experience for the last two times dining there were so horrible that we said we would never return. And that's a shame because prior to that Olivia's was one of our favorites on property. And Cosmic Rays is another one that was once a good place to eat (when they still had the Half Roasted Chicken w/ mashed potatoes and green beans. Of course, the rest of their food was always pure crap. But that roasted chicken was delicious and provided us our main meal at mid-day so we only had to grab some quick counter service for our "dinner."

Melissa Slater if you like scallops, definitely try those! All of us at the table took a taste, and that is what I plan to get when I return in Dec. Octopus (app) was great, though prepared a little differently than I’m used to (still great). The hanger steak was also prepared well, and I enjoyed it immensely. I’d also recommend the “tapas bar” for dessert. Not huge but thoughtfully crafted and delicious. Our server was fantastic and gave recommendations for food and wine that made it a tasty, memorable and enjoyable experience. I hope you enjoy!!!

Just remember, just because someone has a bad experience at a particular restaurant doesn’t mean you won’t like it. I personally had a good experience when I took my twin daughters to Hollywood & Vine lunch for their 4th birthday in August. I liked the food and was surprised because of all the bad reviews I’ve seen, but my experience was different than some. We had breakfast at Ale & Compass in July and it was fantastic! I had the Shrimp & Grits and it was amazing. Maybe it struggles at lunch and dinner, but breakfast was on point.

We always like to go to Cosmic Rays for the chicken. It's Ohana that we don't like for the price point. Never been to ViaNapoli (sp?) or SanAngel Inn so don't know. Your making me miss Disney World today. I haven't been to the Sci Fi Diner for years. Oh, the Garden Grove/Swan we ate at. I don't understand this basket of fried yuk they give you in addition to your food at the table whether you want it or not. You guys should go do a review there. I think it was a mixture of hushpuppies and fried something. We didn't touch that basket. I liked the regular food but admit I didn't try the steak part of the buffet.

So I guess I can thank Hurricane Dorian for the cancelled ADR for Boatright!! We had a terrible experience at the Captains Grille or the formal Ale and Compass Restaurant as well. I think that location is cursed. One would think that all quick service burgers would be consistent and I can’t figure out why they aren’t! Also... all Landry’s restaurants? Even a McCormicks?? Enjoyed the video for sure. Thanks

Love a good worst list...have to agree w that via Napoli window for sure! The most maddening thing of all w that place is that they have the nerve to make you think you are going to get a slice if via Napoli pizza. I remember just saying what the hell is this? Can’t even say if it’s the worst pizza because of how annoying just that part was but ya it wasn’t good either.

Tony’s! Yes! I had super over cooked pasta. It was mush and when I said something the manager came over and said “we make fresh pasta so it has a different texture your just not used to it” 😑

We ate breakfast at Ale and Compass at least twice in September and it was absolutely delicious with top notch service. We also had one dinner there which was acceptable but not over the top fantastic.

There were about 10 times I stopped to leave a comment about something and then something else got me. This was a super funny episode! I literally LOL several times. I used to like the roasted chicken at Cosmic Ray's, but nothing else there has ever been very good, plus it is crazy busy. 'Ohana, sadly, was the exact same experience for us, we were being rushed through our meal. So sad, because 'Ohana used to be our absolute favorite meal in Disney.

We were just in Disney a few weeks ago and my Dad and his gf wanted a last minute sit down dinner one night, so I booked them an ADR at Ale & Compass. They absolutely loved it. They brought me back the 12 layer chocolate cake for dessert and it was delicious. They enjoyed the location, service and food. Everyone has different experiences. I never knew it got such bad reviews. I wanna try it out for myself.

I’m with you on Landry’s, Pete. I grew up hearing about how my mom got horrible food poisoning from a Landry’s restaurant, so I won’t eat at one.

Because of you guys, I’ve attentively paid attention to my in and out time at Ohana for dinner. I eat their for breakfast and dinner and I never feel rushed. If anything, I feel like they take too long to get me out. Maybe I’m experiencing weird one off situations but I’ve been waiting for the day I’m rushed out so I can cause some controversy.
