How come for some players it's "only " 10 points a game, but you're amazed by Wells scoring 12 per game?

🤦♂️🤦♂️I always do. How good is the organization that drafts a player matters. I never heard him mention anything about how well the team is being run.

I mean I think it should matter. Oviously putting up 11 ppg on the worst team in the league is not as good as putting up 11 ppg on the 5th best team in the league.

Castle fell because he's been shooting very poorly lately. I think his 3pt% is down to an atrocious 19%. That coupled with his sporatic minutes. He went 2/12 in his last game I think. I still think he will be the best player in this class, but he needs to get his shot figured out. Defensively he's still elite and his passing too, he just needs to figure out his spots and I think he will climb back up the rookie ladder.

Sarr is the guy that gets 3-5 rebs in 25-30 mins as a center 🤣

I was unaware of Jaylen wells, that's the steal of the draft right there. 38% on 5 attempts is serious shooting for a rookie. Add to that ok defense, with room to grow. He didn't even do 4 years of college... Great pickup.

nah its not that bad the 2000 nba draft only had 3 players average more than 10 pts

deadball era tho. 11.7 ppg in this league is basically below 10 in that era.

6 in one hand. Half dozen in the other. Glass half empty. Glass half full. Are stats valued the same on a good team vs a bad one? Are stats easier or harder to get if you are playing with less talented teammates? Does defense count? The top 5 can be ranked in anyway and it would be fair.

Worst rookie class? But what about the narrative that players have only gotten better and more skilled over time?

Why would one bad year change that. Not the thinker in you're group I'm guessing.
@Ko_clipsКүн бұрын
Because we are comparing them to recent rookie classes and current NBA players. Teleport those guys to like the 80s as they are and guys like Edey are averaging 25-30.
@patrickm6483Күн бұрын
@@Ko_clipshonestly I disagree. The 90s early 00s guys were 250+ and size and strength was preferred . Todays game barley has 1 big if that on the floor at a time

@@VladimirMomperousse-e3c This draft class that came out included millions of kids (millions of basketball players) and there are a bunch of 5 star recruits every year, including this one. Interesting that NONE of them look like future all-NBA caliber players.

You can't say it's the worst draft class yet. you can only tell in 10 years time or so. There is no apparent star yet, but a lot of the top guys seem like good players, they just need to develop more. This is a roleplayer draft for sure tho.

Mitch Johnson's pathetic coaching lineups is single handedly costing Castle ROY. What a shame. Thank heavens Mitch won't be the coach next season. Can't waste Wemby's talent on a coach with no experience. Brett Brown should have been made acting head coach. He'd have the team 6 games over .500. Goodbye Pop. Hello former Spurs player and Pop asst coach Monty Williams. He is from the Pop coaching tree.
