One thing you didnt mention is that at the end of Hoodwinked one, Wolf was hired *SPECIFICALLY* for his skills with disguises. At the very beginning of this movie, the Frog is yelling at wolf...that he keeps putting on disguises?!? Like imagine hiring a maid to clean your house, then you're mad that every time you come home, the place is cleaned.

Something I remember hearing about this movie is the voice actor for Twitchy said to writers (not exactly sure could have been someone else but someone who worked on the script) that Twitchy seemed out of character compared to the first movie. And they just gave him a weird look that made him realize that they didn't care about the quality of the movie

My family loves the first movie, it’s nostalgic we have a lot of great memories with it. One time we decided to watch both movies back to back. During 1 everybody was engaged and laughing and conversing. We started watching 2 and nobody cared and we all zoned out after a while and went on our phones.

I remember seeing the trailer for hoodwinked 2 like 3 years before it actually came out, i dont remember what year it was but if it was around 2009 I wouldve been like 10 and I was convinced I dreamt it up then saw the exact same trailer when it actually came out and was convinced I somehow time traveled. Looked it up and apparently the film was shelved or completely rewrote or something like that and was in post development hell for a while because they knew how shitty it was and didnt know when to release it

Omg, I hated this movie so much when I was younger 😅 I remember really liking the first one and was excited to see the second one, but everything was just awful. I felt like this movie spent too much time referencing other famous movies and not enough on actually writing it’s own story. Hansel and Gretel definitely looked disturbing and the times when Red just couldn’t walk away from someone saying something drove me up a wall!

I did hear rumors that while they got the og director of the first movie down as both part of the writing staff and the voice of Twitchy. They gave the directing role to a man who was open about the fact that he didn't watch the original before, during, or after the release of the second. This sequal was doomed to fail.

I used to watch this semi regularly as a kid, and the only parts I actually remember are: Granny getting handcuffed to the flying bike, the head secret ninja lady going "Oh my" (or something) at finding the recipe gone, descent of the beanstalk, and . . . Hansel and Grettle becoming round. Everything else had been blocked out from my comprehensive memory.I actually had no recollection of the yodeller guy or the spider scene, even after they were brought up in the video. In short I think I just wanted filler noise that I could tune out.

Okay so the first Hoodwinked movie has this weird nostalgic feeling for me where; unlike most other movies that are nostalgic for me, I don’t want to rewatch it. It’s because me and my friends went to see it on my birthday, but it wasn’t actually part of my birthday, we just happened to go see it after my official birthday party and we really enjoyed it. The next day one of my friends moms confronted me and my mom because her kid wasn’t invited even though it wasn’t part of my birthday and just a thing that happened but she wouldn’t hear it and made up her mind it was my fault (even though I was a fucking child at the time) and after that treated me like absolute shit, and turned all my friends against me and they treated me the same way. So going to see that movie was both the last time I felt genuinely happy as a kid and the catalyst for how I was treated from that point on lmao
