"don't comment on peoples' bodies" is generally a good rule. I used to work with this young lady, she was probably 19-20, I was about 30. She quit the job for like 6 months to do an internship or something, when she came back, she had lost like 40 pounds. I just made an offhand remark like "hey, long time-no see, looking good!" or something like that. Some hours later, my boss was like "oh yeah, she got really sick and was in the hospital for over a month, she only recently has been able to eat solid food again." My soul left my body. Ever since then, I don't comment on peoples appearance unless I really know them, and even then...

For context: the song 'Deutschland' by Rammstein is about German history. The lyrics are quite critical with the Germans and their own view on their past. "Mein Herz in Flammen, will dich lieben und verdammen" = "My heart is in flames, want to love and to damn you". Its about the "love-hate" relationship Germans have with their heritage.

Now that women have come forward and admitted that they lied, Evan Rachel Wood has lost custody of her son due to kidnapping and abuse issues, and several cases have been thrown out of court due to severe credibility issues. I feel confident promoting Marilyn Manson‘s first album in a positive light. Portrait of an American Family is dripping with punk saliva and it’s one of the most unique albums ever made. The aesthetics and Daisy Berkowitz, incredible guitar work, just outstanding, especially for a low budget debut record. It’s a lot different than the rest of the catalog and it’s not nearly as dark or serious but it’s still very intriguing. For the guitar players out there, I think you would get a kick out of some of the tones and textures Daisy Berkowitz achieved on this record and the follow up.

Rammstein’s Deutschland lengthy music video sparked controversy; its dark, violent, and macabre style-typical of the band's aesthetic-features various events from German history, including Roman times, the Battle of the Teutoburg Forest, the Middle Ages, witch hunting, the November Revolution, the Golden Twenties, Nazi book burnings, the Hindenburg disaster, the First and Second World Wars, the Holocaust, the Weimar Republic, the Red Army Faction, and the division of the country into West and East Germany; it also features science fiction scenes set in outer space. The song also twice uses the line "Deutschland, Deutschland über allen" ("Germany, Germany above everyone") as a reference to "Deutschland, Deutschland über alles" ("Germany, Germany above everything") from the Deutschlandlied.

I don't think Rammstein is trying to be deep. They make songs about different topics from the serious to the unserious and "Deutschland" was just a critique of Germany. Far as Till being a creep, the charges were dropped after it was discovered the girl was kind of lying and embellishing shit. With that said, Till can be cringe when it comes to sex (ex: his band Lindemann), but I guess it sells. Which is why, back when I was a hockey DJ for a brief period of time in the reopening phase of the pandemic, I played that Taylor Swift song, for the hockey players and their loved ones who were there to support them. Some grouchy, ignorant, sexist old-head complained to me about (his words) "playing too much girly music at the games!" The person in the chat who said "Ed Sheeran is just a successful Mike Posner" was dead on 🤣

Hey Finn, which of these music styles that start with A is your favorite: ABC Mouse, Andy Grammer, Arctic Monkeys, Alice In Chains, Ace Of Base, AC/DC, ABBA, Aespa, Amy Winehouse, Avril Lavigne, Anthrax, Avenged Sevenfold, Adele and Alanis Morissette.

The dumbest thing about “All About That Bass” is that there’s practically no bass or low-end tones in the mix. Seems like they really dropped the ball on that.

i miss country Taylor Swift as well I was actually a really big fan of her early in in the Myspace days, even though I was already in University. I thought it was nice music for little girls to listen to and I liked listening to it, too, if I had done a little drinking or drugging (which was most the time back then) because it was just happy music. I would make my sceneXcore friends listen to it, too 😂

Meghan Trainor has won the coverted A Dose of Buckley "Worst Song of the Year" award so many times I don't even remember. She sure is a winner.

German Rammstein Fans are totally annoying: "They are the hardest Band on the world." "If you don't like Rammstein, then clearly you can't handle the heaviness." "I listen to Rammstein because I am so cool and so tough." Bla bla bla. My gosh...

Shake It Off is an unironic masterpiece and clearly taylor's best song. She fell off so fast in quality pretty much right after. "Look what you made me do" was completely the opposite. As ridiculous as the swifties are, Taylor has a few absolute gems. It's just a shame 90% of the rest of her lyrical contetnt is redundant.

About Ed: I've recently realised that I don't like him because of his fans lmao. Yes I know he can't control that but it is what it is. I would agree that his songs are catchy and he stands out enough amongst his billboard peers that "safe" listeners can enjoy without offending themselves and others. And his live looping...normies love to sing praises about that but it's like, if you can keep a steady time and have good sense of rhythm, you could do it too lol

I had “shape of you” as my alarm sound for a couple years. It was meant to keep me from snoozing because I couldn’t stand to listen to that song over and over

I am curious, why do you celebrate some artists like Bring Me The Horizon for being able to genre switch/bending but don't celebrate others like Taylor? No hate, just curious

Rammstein wants to be electric callboy but their handlers won't let them.

I hate that "I am a fan of Taylor Swift, up until she went Indie" is a sentence that exists 😅

I never really took Rammstein seriously, but they were always one of my favorite live bands I've seen. As a guitarist still one of my favorite guitar sounds ever... also, I do enjoy pro wrestling, even tho I know it's dumb, so that was a great observation 😂😂😂
