Cardio will benefit your heart and lungs and thus increase your life expectancy.

Dude clearly isn’t talking about just doing cardio. He’s talking about people who do cardio to the extreme point where they have completely ate away at their muscle and bodyfat

Having stronger healthier internal organs is much more helpful in the long run than muscle mass. Just ask [name of some bodybuilder who didn’t see 40]

I used to weigh 104kg and did 5-6 bench, squat, deadlift sessions per week. I was very strong and had a lot of muscle mass but I did not feel healthy. I started cycling 10miles to and from work 5 days per week 6 months ago, I now weigh 86kg and have lost a significant amount of muscle and fat but feel as healthy as I can remember and am bradycardic with a resting HR of between 40-50. I believe in the long run this is probably better.
