To make the Kristi Toliver trade even worse, after the LA championship she played very well in Washington and helped them also win a championship in 2019. In the off season she was an assistant coach for 2 NBA teams. Now she's an assistant head coach for WNBA Phoenix and helping them improve. She'll someday be an outstanding wnba head coach unless I'm mistaken. Great video!

Thanks Hunter 👍Another great video and great work In your rankings here. As I mentioned before, I’m still very new to the WNBA, So there’s alot of learning in progress ahead for me, But watching your videos of topics and listening to the great commentary and details you give , really helps me to understand alot more of the game and the players. Youve mentioned that if your viewers have ideas for upcoming videos, we should comment. Would you ever consider doing a Project if there’s enough availible Information, To list a Top 10 ‘waived or released’ players from WNBA Teams that Went on to have successful careers Elsewhere in the league? These could be drafts that never got a chance to play much, or Rookie players in general perhaps. The idea came to me when I thought of Celeste Taylor being released from My Team, the Indiana Fever. Celeste is now currently playing for the Phoenix Mercury. Who knows how that will work out. I’m still not personally thrilled that she was released, or waived from the Fever. I think she had so much to offer, and never got the chance. Well, sorry for so much rambling Hunter. Thank you again.

How do you feel about doing a top 10 position video? With you saying Hammon is one of the best PGs of all time it made me think… Would she be over Gray, Whalen, Bird and Sloot? Or even Staley, or Witherspoon? I guess I have her around #7 all time. Curious about you…

I agree. I’d love to see Hunter make a top 10 position ranking video. Although It would be awesome, it would likely be a ton of research work in that project.

@@mikailbumpus692 surely it would with how much depth he puts in his videos. Hopefully one day he will have the time and resources.

I ✋ 👀 the 🗽 after they traded Becky Hammond for about 16 yrs until Breanna Stewart got there I couldn't believe they traded her nothing basically 😲 SMDH.

This one will be overlooked, but I think one that should be considered is the Liberty trading Tina Charles to Washington for nothing...lol Covid and issues unforseen made this trade swept under a rug, but that, and the hiring of Walt Hopkins, set the Liberty back...Stewie absolutely saved Kolb from being canned, cuz he's TERRIBLE!!! He should've been like Napheesa Collier and tried to give his Executive of the Year trophy to Stewie...lol

I considered that trade, but the thing is it’s not like New York was winning with Tina. She was the most inefficient front-court star in the league. Yes Tina had a bounce back season in 2021, but also, not having Tina allowed them to trade picks that didn’t turn into much for Natasha Howard, build up her value even more & then cash in w/ Jonquel Jones and Kayla Thornton.

@@HunterCruse14 great points, but it still shows me how bad of an exec Kolb is...In 2019, the Liberty's biggest weakness was PG because Boyd wasnt it...He decides to break up the team, which they probably should've drafted Sabally instead of Ionescu...The only move I give him credit for is Laney...JJ forced the traded and wanted to be with Stewie and Sloot, so I don't give him credit...lol

WNBA was founded 2024 where all these trades coming from?
