I totally forgot about how awful Tulsa was, so glad they became the Dallas Wings. I remember watching games back then and the arena was practically empty. Tulsa did not seem to be the right market for the Shock. Thanks for the reminder that Skylar Diggins-Smith has had two teams (Wings and Mercury) in the WNBA not support her through pregnancy. It's sad and unfortunate, but that's why we have to keep updating the CBA. Hunter, I appreciate these deep dives. There's so much great history that needs to be acknowledged.

Maybe it's the organizations. Derica Hamby got pregnant when she was with the Aces. Wasn't even a starter yet and Bill Laimbeer of all people was the coach & GM. That organization supported her

I love your content!! Finally great to see a creator focus on the W and make such informative and well-researched videos. I would love to see videos about some of the best/worst free agent signings in history, as well as a lookback on that god awful 2021 draft class. Also, would love to see retrospectives on some of the older, lesser-known teams in the league's history (Charlotte, Miami, Orlando, etc.). Hunter, great content again. As a Dallas fan starting in 2019, it was very interesting to know the history. Lots of bad luck. This year with injury to Soutou and having rights to Chicago pick and them having unexpectedly good year, the bad luck continues. Hopefully, owner Bibb will do an honest evaluation of his General Manager's performance and replace him 😊

Well Done Sir. Really don't remember Nolan Richardson as the head coach of the Tulsa Shock. Not a bad hire considering Tulsa was his town. He coached the Tulsa Golden Hurricane to great success in the 1980s. That's how he got the Arkansas job. One year Tulsa was a 3 seed in the tournament. Another year they were a Final Four sleeper pick. He had success in Tulsa before and could help fill the seats. It quickly turned into a sideshow. Marion Jones 🤔

Tulsa’s worst enemy was its owner. He hired Nolan Richardson as head coach, which was the worst head coach in WNBA history. No one wanted to play for him, his players didn’t listen, didn’t play hard, verbally mocked him to the media etc. He was a joke. Marion Jones was another joke. Her teammates shook their heads when they signed her and were like WTF. The team was a complete joke while in Tulsa, and when they moved to Dallas, they continued as a joke. They treat their players without loyalty, and like garbage. Maybe it’s a bit better now a days, but doesn’t seem like it.
